Overall, I love the Fair Isle cardigan. It fits well and looks great. For future buyers, I'm 6' 4" tall and about 215 lbs. and I went with the XL, primarily for the length. It's just slightly looser than I normally like, but the extra room will be great when layering with a thicker henley.

My only real beef with the product is that it's made in China. It said 'imported' on the website listing and while I knew China was a possibility, I was hoping at the $200 price point, it might not have been.

Still, it's a quality piece and the Schott purchasing experience was great. Well packed, fast shipping, good looking product.

I bought this sweater at a thrift store over 5 years ago.. I’ve worn it every week since I’ve bought it. It’s the perfect “I’ll just throw my sweater on” GARB I’ve ever encountered!
It’s incredible mine is missing some buttons but I love it all the more it has character. Been around the block.
I walk my dogs at night in this sweater,
I camp with this sweater
I get dennys at 2am in this sweater
I lounge with my children in this morning.
I’ll never get rid of it and I ENCOURAGE everyone to own this dang thing it’ll change your life.

Love this sweater. I enjoyed wearing it on an expedition to Antartica. Heavy, very comfortable and really warm.

This cardigan is so soft , well made and has a great weight! It is so handsome in person and a superb buy for the money! Will be using Schott in the future.

The limestone color is gorgeous and the material has a very soft hand feel.

However, I wouldn't have bought it at
full price even though I own over 50 Schott sweaters and jackets since 1980 on, I still buy a few pieces every year.

This cardigan looks awesome and fits well—but as others noted, the yak hair scratched my arms too much and I had to return it. It's only 7% yak hair, but it seems that small addition caused the sweater to shed black hairs and become unnecessarily itchy. Next time, leave out the yak and I'll keep the sweater.

I gave my son the tan and blue version of this sweater for Christmas and he loved it so much I thought he was going to wear it out before February so I purchased this one to give the other a break. They both fit really well. I got the large and he is 6'2" and weighs about 190 lbs. The sweaters are warm and very well made.

Received as a gift for Christmas and absolutely love it! Incredibly soft and warm (wore it over a flannel in 45° weather and was plenty warm). I did have to size down to a small from a medium which is wild as someone who is 6’1” / 185 / 40” chest but the sleeves were too long on a medium for my liking. I only lost an inch in the chest and the length of the body and because it’s knit and has serious heft it will definitely stretch/loosen so I’ll regain that anyway. I will say that I am styling this to mostly wear over a t-shirt or henley but have room to layer a thinner button down and still button the cardigan. It does shed some but less with each wear and think will eventually stop. I anticipate this being a cold month staple for years and years to come!

This cardigan is amazing! It has a heavy, substantial feel but it’s soft as butter and the fit is stylish. The color is magnificent to boot!

This a classic cardigan to be treasured for years. Yes, you really will receive unsolicited compliments just about every time you wear it. The pattern is beautiful and just retro enough to give off a 60s/70s vibe, but still modern. This sweater has weight in a good way, but isn't too heavy or scratchy in a bad way.

Fit is true to size -- I'm consistently between a L and XL (6'1"/205/broad shoulders) but I sized up to XL for a more relaxed/living through a pandemic feel.
