SP611

Born to Ride "Two Star" Perfecto® Motorcycle Jacket

$1,120 USD

The SP611 revisits one of our most legendary silhouettes, built here in veg-retanned steerhide with unmistakable double-star epaulettes. Its cropped 24-inch back length reflects the bold proportions of 1980s-era leather, paired with elongated 7-inch pocket and sleeve zippers.

Inside, a classic black polyester lining keeps the look vintage. The tough exterior carries the weight and durability that have defined Schott jackets for generations. Our classic Perfecto® jackets have been made in the USA since 1928 and built to run with you until the end of the road.

Jacket was too big, it had no size tags... it was too bad

A classic as timeless as ever. Well built, heavyweight hardware, beautiful leather. Comfortable and cool.

Nice jacket and great fit but one of the epulettes is not sitting as nicely as the other and one of the stars on it has a tine that was not bent down to go into the leather, so there is a sharp piece that throws off the crispness of the star.

BEST JACKET EVER

The Born to Ride by Schott NYC lives up to its name: it was made for riding, yes — but also, metaphorically, for facing every aspect of life with the same firmness. There’s no doubt it stands above any other model. It doesn’t seek approval — it commands it.

Its proportions are not forgiving. They demand what’s necessary to wear it properly: a broad back and long arms. With a 102 cm chest, the size M — though it may look small at first glance — fits perfectly on well-proportioned bodies. It hugs where it should, defines the waist, and structures the back. This is not a jacket for just anyone; it’s not for shapeless silhouettes or effeminate.

The cut is clearly inspired by Bruce Springsteen’s aesthetic: it transports you to those golden eras when fashion demanded a narrow waist and broad shoulders, projecting masculinity and a genuinely rock-and-roll spirit.

Honestly, you have to have what it takes to wear it with style — otherwise, this isn’t for you.

Makes me look tougher than I am

As always Schott elevates your look without even trying. Although I will say that I actually do ride motorcycles so I have some credibility, but it still makes me look tougher than I actually am which is awesome and which is what most people want I’m sure.
