I'm 6 ft. 235 lbs. Chest 47 got the 46 in a 118 perfecto and it fits perfecto ! It took me a while to pull the trigger and finally she'll out the 825.oo but this jacket is proof that you get what you pay for. Very happy !
Amazing quality for the money, I'm very impressed. If you don't like this jacket, you're crazy!....lol
Perfect fit! The fine leather that I know will last forever. I ride so I’ll be breaking it in Sun Rain Snow. I know it will stay intact and only look better. Definitely an investment worth every dollar. Thank you Schott NYC!
My Perfecto was a little too big and I had to exchange for the proper size. I followed the return exchange policy and sadly sent the Perfecto back. I promptly received the new exchange jacket no questions asked. Schott NYC customer service was awesome and the process simple. My Perfecto 118 fit is excellent and feels better than I imagined. Schott NYC definitely is the best of the best.
Superior Quality!
Exact Fit I Wanted!
Leather Jacket PERFECTION!!
I bought the 118 size 50 tall jacket. Glad I bought the tall did as I needed the extra 28” length. I’m a 49” chest, 6’1” and 235 lbs. Jacket fit perfect with room enough for wearing a hoodie underneath....but fits great with just a tShirt. I did have to get the sleeves shortened by about 1.5 inches, which I anticipated. That alteration cost me $100 at a leather tailor...but well worth it for benefit of the extra length. As for the quality? Leather is far far nicer than my Pakistani First Genuine lol! Quality of assembly and tailoring is amazing! Made in the USA is the only way to go! ...and I’m Canadian! lol!
Very happy with my 118 fits perfect looks amazing, still waiting on the stars for the epaulets hopefully they come soon other than that very satisfied
The best leather jacket ever , so comfortable that I can wear it all day long and feel free when moving doing everyday things or riding... , never felt so with a jacket before plus this jacket got a history .. it fits me like a glove and I love it.
This jacket is simply the best leather jackets I’ve ever worn and one of the best jackets just in general. Super high quality leather and excellent construction. Worth every penny.
I'd like to write a review and overthink and ramble. I'd like to say that this cut gets a bad rap as being for dudes having a midlife crisis and needing something to accomodate their gut. I really don't see that at all.
I had my heart set on the 618 in steerhide, and I would not have even considered the 118. I wanted the extra toughness. However, the 618 was pretty tight in 36, and I don't think I could have worn more than a t-shirt under it; I wanted a bit more versatility, and I was afraid the 38 would be too big and still too short.
The 118 in 36 is sized about like a 618 in 38, sure, but the thing people don't seem to realize is that waist is actually a bit trimmer than a size 38 618. A 118 falls somewhere in between, so it's sort of like a half size, a 37 rather than a 38 but marked as a 36 for whatever reason, despite matching the chest of the size 38.
Anyway, it is bigger in the shoulders (I guess I needed this), a little bigger in the chest... All this is good. I have big shoulders apparently (plus I want to be able to wear stuff under it), and I definitely have a big chest and upper back. However, after my big upper back ends, stuff always tends to be way too loose on my midback and especially my lower back. Since this tapers down at the waist, It fits me great, better than a 618 would in any size.
So, I "settled" for the naked cowhide 118,, but I think it will actually be better for me in the long run anyway...
I hope to be back with another review after I've spent some time with it, maybe years up on years. And, finally, here is a note I just wrote to customer service:

Hi, hopefully this is still Denise! If not, maybe you could tell her for me: She put in a ton of work with me, and it was all worthwhile. While the 618 of my dreams fit kind of funny in 36, a 118 in 36 fits "perfectly". I hate it when people say something fits "perfectly," but... it does. it is exactly the fit I had in mind, great with a t-shirt, but I can also wear a hoodie, or a turtleneck and vest, etc etc etc, under it. I love it so much! I cannot say I have suddenly become a god among men, but I can stay I've spent an awful lot of time admiring my reflection in the mirror, and I promise that is NOT normal for me. I wanted it for its fantastic utility, but of course a flattering fit is a huge relief. It's also really warm. This is great. We'll see if I am still able to wear it in the summer, but mostly I wanted to make sure I could wear it when it's cooler/cold so that it can just hang on my wall 24/7/365, ready to go. If it's too heavy for summer, you can bet I will probably be fiending over a 626 in the future, however, I also really have my eye on the unlined trucker (seems like it would be the perfect companion to the 118 for year-round indoor/outdoor wear/layering, but of course the 626 has the Perfecto look I can't get enough of right now).
This jacket is everything I'd hoped for and more. I know you guys hear this all the time, however, I wanted to say that it would not have been possible without Denise's help. Thank you so much! I firmly believe this jacket will be with me the rest of my life, which was the idea. Will be 40 in a year, and I wanted a comforting companion to kind of literally wear to death. Morbid, but aging does that to a person.
Thank you again, truly. Much appreciation to Denise for helping me, and to the folks who built my jacket and to the supply chain. I don't know if I've ever been so happy with an object, and of course you have to be really happy when something is going to cost a lot and be with you forever.
Thanks a million! I am not exactly a financially successful person, but this is money well spent. I could have one jacket for the rest of my life if I wanted to go to that extreme: this one. Sounds over the top, but, again, I know you guys hear this a lot.
