      The leather in 613MO is actually pretty special. This is a new leather developed by Horween (5th generation tannery from downtown Chicago). They were able to develop a horsehide that is treated with the same process as their most famous leather (Chromexcel) but on a much softer raw material.

      Visited the NYC store and was glad I did. Trying on. Many styles and colors with the help of my daughter and great Schott staff helped me make my final decision. Every style fits a little bit different and the jackets I thought I was interested in online were not my favorite after trying them on. The 613mo horsehide is an incredible looking jacket and looks better on than in the online photo. If anyone has the opportunity to visit a Schott store do it you won’t be disappointed.
