Awesome jacket! Bought the 654 and liked it a lot, but wanted a Perfecto. Love the distressed look and feel of this one. Quality is amazing, and I know this will last for several years. You get what you pay for.

As soon as I put this jacket on I felt different. Powerful would be a good word to describe it. I never knew a jacket could look and feel this good. I get looks on the street all the time, my friends showered me with compliments. I would tell them to try it on so they too could get that feeling of invincibility and they agreed. If your worried about the price tag, don't, I have no regrets for the hefty price as I feel this jacket will be with me to the bitter end. I'm 6 ft, athletic 180 lbs and the large fits me perfectly.

I like to think of my style akin to Jason Momoa or Dave Bautista, vintage, with edge, or tailored but masculine. I call these jackets my "Pieces" as they are works of art and fine craftsmanship. This by far is my favorite piece because it is fitted so well. I am 5'8", 165 lbs, 30 waist, 40 chest, but my shoulders are 24 inches across. You dandy gymbros know what I mean when I say it's hard finding the perfect blend of room in the shoulders and tapered body. THIS JACKET IS IT! I ordered the Medium and it was still a little tight in the chest but the body and waist are fantastic and snug . I was going too keep this but good customer service is allowing me to exchange for a large. I just need that little more shoulder room. I could probably break it in more for a personal fit but that would take time and I live in TX. If you have my dimensions , go for the Large. The sleeves are zippered so helps with shorter arms. I have the B52 sheepskin bomber and a fur collared fitted pea coat . Style 626VN is my favorite child right now. I always get a compliment on my pieces. Like converse, jeans, and white t-shirts, this is a timeless classic that every dude should have in their closet. It is beautifully made, and will only get better if you like the vintaged accents of your wardrobe. Well worth the investment

Love the jacket. i have been wanting a nice leather jacket for years and i have finally found one.

it cost almost all my paycheck, but it was worth every penny.. because you're not just buying a simple leather jacket... you're buying a legendary jacket of the highest quality. This is almost a second skin for me, I use it for all events!

Since I started shopping around for a leather jacket to update my wardrobe, I thought it would be worth it to save up the money and go for the real deal. I did some research and I came across the brand Schott NYC and figured I'd give them a try. I went to a men's fashion store to see if they had any Schott Perfectos in stock which they didn't at the time (this was in October of 2021). I asked the manager to order me a model 618. He measured my chest size which is 44 inches and he recommended a size 46. I opted against the size 46 because I wanted a more tailored look. As soon as the jacket arrived and I tried it on the first time, it was a little stiff, but the jacket fits like a glove! Now that I have worn the 618 throughout fall, frequently in winter when it wasn't too cold and throughout the majority of spring, the jacket has broken in beautifully and was perfect. It's now starting to build some character. I then decided to get another leather jacket that was meant for warmer weather and already had that aged look. I stumbled across the 626VN and ordered the size Schott NYC recommended for me (XL). When I received the jacket and tried it on, the jacket fits like a glove in all of the right spots and it just looked absolutely killer! The only downside to this jacket I have to say for me is the sleeves are just slightly too long for my arms. I would say if the sleeves were maybe just a little shorter by at least an inch or two for my arm length, it would be perfect. Other than that, this is a solid piece in my wardrobe! I won't buy a leather jacket from any other brand except Schott NYC. They do not skip out or cut corners when it comes to quality control! Schott NYC, I think you make the best, most killer, most badass leather jackets out there, period!

Thought about it for years, finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Their quality products put the bad in badass. Arrived in only a couple days and the jacket is perfect. The pockets all around are even better and bigger than I expected. Fit is perfect and as it breaks in, gets more and more comfortable and form fitting. Get one now -

I’m really not sure how to articulate the magic of this jacket. I had high expectations, and it greatly exceeded them. It’s heavy, well made, and beautifully detailed. Schott’s legacy speaks for itself. And this jacket is truly a work of art befitting that legacy. Not to mention, excellent customer service. Which is rare these days. The prospect of what the jacket costs was a bit overwhelming at first, but having received it i simply couldn't be happier. You get what you pay for. Do yourself a serious favor.

You wanna know the fit, right?

I'm in my mid-fifties, 5'10", about 190 pounds (with a bit of a gut), and I usually wear a size "large." After reading the other reviews, I decided to size up to an "Extra Large" and I couldn't be happier. The jacket fit me perfectly, with enough room if I gain a few or lose a few pounds.

I know these are expensive jackets, but they are worth it. It'll last forever.

this jacket is the bomb. i am. a fairly skinny guy, 5'10, 125lb, lean but with muscle, kinda like bruce lee, also i do martial arts.

man this jacket got me feeling some kind of way, it makes me feel good. it fits like a glove, everything is perfect with a t-shirt underneath.

the quality is good, i got another jacket from farfetch made by some european brands, les hommes, cost over 2000 euro, and this jacket blow that one out of water on everything.

man these guys know what they are doing when it comes to leather jackets.

I grew up in the Northern US, and used to own a standard weight leather jacket, but now I live in the Southeast, so I wanted something a little lighter and the 626 is perfect. The construction is spectacular, and I’ll be able to wear this jacket 3 out of 4 seasons. The zippers are heavy duty, and the sleeve length fits me just right. I highly recommend this if you want something that feels great, looks great, and isn’t too heavy. (It’s still heavy. Just not too heavy.)

I love all the attention I get from this jacket. Random people will stop me to compliment it!

I’m 45 yrs old, weightlifter, 5’9”, 205lbs, 46” chest, 32” waist I went with the XL. It’s a bit tight in my upper back, however, I was worried about going XXL because of the longer sleeves. I feel like in just one night out the XL has stretched slightly to form to my size.

Even though it’s billed as lighter version I believe it’s tough enough to be used for riding.

Schott, you have a customer for life!

Just a tip, it fits a half size small - try on in store or go off the sizing estimator.

This was my fourth leather jacket. High quality jacket, truly soft and fits the body perfectly, L size fit liked a glove.

Looking forward to continue buying more leather jackets from Schott and there is no other better brand!

This jacket is great for someone who can’t wait for a jacket to break in it feel like it already is

Comparing this 626VN to my 118, leather is smooth and soft, feels already broken-in, just need to wear it a few times for the jacket to conform to your body shape. I didn't realize the zippers on the sleeves are at a different position comparing to my 118, they sit slightly more on top as compared to the bottom on my 118. Those zippers also open straight to the arms with no lining under them, again this is new to me as I never owned a 626 before, my only experience is comparing it to my 118.

I was a bit on the fence paying $870 for a jacket, especially when it was mail order and I couldn't try it on.
When it came in the mail it was love at first sight!
The craftsmanship was superior to any jacket I've ever owned and the fit was as expected slim and fashionable.

The 626VN is best captured in the first two (2) pictures (showing the front and back of the jacket) which boasts its vintaged looks. I'm 6'2" with a 42"inch chest, 193 lbs with broad shoulders and found the XL to fit best for my shoulders. However, the jacket was a bit too big overall in the chest and back, and so decided to size down to the Large which gives a fitted or slimmer fit. The range of mobility is somewhat limited, however I am not using the jacket for riding. I also wouldn't plan to have thick garments under the jacket either - living in South Florida this suits just fine. I was also considering the PER70, but decided against its higher level of vintaging compared to the 626VN. The quality and build is top-shelf. With some wear and stretching the jacket seems to be taking on a good fit.

I bought this 626vn at the L.A. store and couldn't be happier.I tried on the 618 and 118 steer hide perfectos...the leather was just too stiff for me.I wanted a everyday casual jacket and riding jacket.This jacket is extremely comfortable and I knew it was the one for me after trying it on.I'm 5'11" ,190 lbs.....it fits very snug,so I went with the XXL.....another great feature that I like is the traditional zipper sleeve which allows for a slight roll up if desired. ...great "cool casual look "for around town.The jacket feels broken in right from the start and has a great vintage look.My next Schott purchase will be the 619!!!

This jacket is just PERFECT! I love it. I bought the 626 regular and fit really good and also you can wear that with a sweater or something but the 626vn it’s more light and slim fit what is great if your are looking for something with more “rock&roll” style. I appreciated a lot how they treat the costumers. Jerri is amazing ??

I have been searching for a leather that has a lot of quality but at a reasonable price and the search is over. I am a slim guy so shopping online can be difficult. I had been looking at this online and was close enough to the Chicago store to try it on. I could tell taking it off the rack it was the one. The fit for a slim guy is fantastic. The shoulders, chest, arms, and total length are just perfect. For reference I am 5'10" and 125 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. It is on the tight side but with regular wear should mold perfectly. I debated the regular 626 vs the VN but once I saw the VN in person, I was sold. The distressing is done thoughtfully and not overdone or cheesy like some can do it. Overall really happy!

Ordered the vintage cowhide motorcycle jacket 626VN online on a Saturday from Dallas, Texas. Order was filled and shipped that Monday per the email Schott sent me and I received the jacket the following Thursday. I usually take a size medium in a jacket or coat (40R), so that's what I ordered. Medium in this jacket was extremely snug (uncomfortably snug), so I filled out the return form which came with the jacket, packed it back in the box without removing the tags as instructed, and mailed it back to Schott the following day (Friday). I received an email the next Wednesday informing me the replacement jacket had shipped and it arrived the next Saturday. The large size fits fine. The jacket is exactly as I expected; the quality of the leather, the stitching, snaps and zippers are all very good, and of course it looks great. I wanted a lighter weight jacket and one I wouldn't have to spend a lot of time breaking in. This jacket should fit the bill.

I just don't know how to describe this jacket. It fits perfectly even on first wearing.

The vintaged process is just perfect, this jacket looks like it was worn for years.
The leather is soft and the inner coton lining is warm, let you move easily and have a really good looking .

It's my first real Schott "perfecto" i've some other brand leather jackets but no one is like this one and i already plan to buy an other A 118 i think.

Only warning make sur to order the good size if you want to wear it with heavy sweater. I'm 5,9' tall and 50" chest and It's most use for me with light shirts. With heavy pullover or other i'm little tight. But with t-shirts or light sweater "i'm home"

was hesitant about ordering a fitted jacket because I was afraid I wouldn't get the proper fit. of course you can always send it back for an exchange or refund if it doesn't fit but I find it a hassle in having to do that thru the mail. boy was I wrong. I'm 5 ft 11 in tall and weigh 175 lbs. I ordered a large and it fits me perfect. nice and snug (not tight) doesn't restrict my movements what so ever. the leather is nice and soft. very subtle but rugged at the same time. I have received many compliments on this jacket from both men and women. it just looks expensive. have owned several leather jackets so I know what to look for as far as quality. this is quality...
