HORWEEN & NUBUCK SUPERLATIVES
Bought a Horween Rider Jkt in Lg; a little snug so ordered an X Lg to try both simultaneously. Decided to keep Lg Horween Rider and Xchange X Lg for this Storm, which is same style in different leather in the X Lg so I could easily get a sweater/hoodie underneath.
Both jkts are exactly as all reviews reveal: incredible quality and workmanship - leather/cutting/sewing. These two are very heavy jackets (like most Schotts, I believe) so for an old dude like myself who is no longer so flexible, they are a bear to get onto my aged body but once on fit extremely well and with bi-swing backs are quite comfortable. Take a while to break in but worth it.
Proof of the old adage "you get what you pay for"...............probably legacy items that will be passed to a younger generation like our parents' WW II flight jackets that we wore in college in the 60s & 70s (and may still wear)..

Quality is amazing! If you are looking for a heavy leather jacket then this is it. (Estimate around 6 pounds).
Leather is thick with a beautiful texture to it. Color is perfect nice dark brown.
Rather stiff out of the box but starts to break in already after a week now. Can’t wait until it has the patina of everyday wear.
This jacket is the kind you will pass on to the next generation.
I’m 6’2”, 200 lbs, 43 chest, 34 levis - L fits like a glove. Problem I usually have are my long arms. Sleeves are perfect length and end right below the wrist. While It fits well just with a tshirt, I still have room for a sweater or even hoodie. So far perfect in 40 degree weather.
I ordered XL and L, sent the XL back.

This is the 5th Schott Jacket I have purchased. 2 from a dealer, and 3 directly from Schott NY. I ""outgrew" my first one Purchased in 2000 and gifted it to My son. He still wears it.. The others I still wear. A Perfecto Motorcycle jacket; a peacoat, a Rancher, and now the Storm. I have never had any problems with any of them and they are all heavily worn. Customer service is great, as well as the fit guide. I plan on wearing them all for many years. I receive many compliments on the looks and fit of the jackets
GREAT JACKET
Heavy leather, nice wool lining. I'm 5'11" 180 lbs. The large fits perfectly. Well fitted, but comfortable. Sleeve length goes just beyond wrist as designed for this style. When driving or riding, goes right to wrist as intended.
BEAUTIFUL JACKET
This is my first Schott but not my first leather jacket. The quality is apparent right away. Even though it's essentially off the rack the fit is great, with a nice cut. One of the nicest jackets I've ever owned. I can tell that it's going to age beautifully and look forward to wearing this jacket for a long long time. I'm 6 ft, 195 lbs, size 43 so bought the Large. Fits great! The right amount of tight, not too much, not too loose. As others said, it's a solid and jacket, yet has a light movement to it, as well.
AMAZING JACKET
This is a garment with the cut of a jacket, but the weight of a coat. The leather is THICK and appears to be very well sourced. Out of the box, the leather is surprisingly pliant for its thickness, and it's obvious that it will only become more flexible and forgiving with age. Build quality is phenomenal; the stitching and panels are perfect.
Because no garment is perfect, here are my nitpicks:
• The angled sleeve cuffs are unique—maybe too unique? (I'll get used to them.)
• The zipper pulls for the chest and side pockets are quite delicate, and I anticipate that the tiny chain will give out with regular use. (The main zipper and pull, however, are stout.)
• The waist buckle hardware is similarly light-duty.
* The sleeves are LONG for regular use, but might be perfect for someone who uses the jacket for riding (where the arms are extended out front).
Overall, this is an amazing jacket/coat that I plan on wearing until I'm old enough to look stupid wearing it. Yeah, it's pricey, but for what you get, the cost is well worth it.
AMAZING JACKET!
Easily my favourite item of clothing. The colour is sooo good and the weight of the leather doesn’t detract from how comfortable it is to wear. I am 5’9 and have an athletic build, I went for the medium which is a great fit, not too narrow on the shoulders.
SO PROUD TO OWN A STORM (P673) JACKET !
I've always been an unconditional fan of leather jackets made by Schott. When I was 20 (I'm now 56), I bought my first jacket. It was an A2 model. I still wear it regularly and it has aged beautifully. I recently bought a black B3 jacket, which is simply magnificent. I wear it on very cold days.
Having heard a lot about Schott's Storm model, I decided to buy the brown version of this jacket, which I received two days after placing my order (I live in Switzerland). This jacket is gorgeous, in every way. The quality of the leather is second to none and the weight of the jacket gives the reassuring feeling of wearing an armour. This is undoubtedly the best jacket in my entire (large) collection. And I highly recommend it.
GREAT JACKET
At 5’11” and 160lbs. I was hesitant about buying a Medium but it fits perfectly. I love the way it smells and cannot wait to see how it breaks in. This is the type of jacket that will last a lifetime.
