About this leather: Our naked cowhide leather is a premium top grain cowhide that combines comfort and durability. The leather boasts a naturally tight open pore structure that ensures a softer touch and superior comfort. Its weight and warmth are on par with deluxe heavy steerhide. The full aniline, drum dyed process preserves the leather’s texture, enhancing its natural grain with a subtle, semi-matte finish. It is then vacuum dried (instead of toggle dried) that leads to a slightly stiffer result as the fibers are not stretched and softened. The leather is designed to age gracefully and expand its characteristics over time.

NICE JACKET
Pretty nice jacket. Only flaw is that one of the buttons is slightly looser than all the others… like the rivet isn’t as secure.
I am 5’8”, 150 lbs and wear a 38 Regular suit jacket. I ordered both the medium and small so I could try on both. I landed on the small even though it was a bit snug, at first. You will notice that the hide has some flex to it. After wearing it for a week. It has relaxed and is a wonderful fit. Glad I chose the small, because if the medium relaxed, it would have been too big.
QUALITY CLASSIC
Love it. It’s the third Schott leather jacket I have owned, starting almost 30 years ago when I moved to NYC. They were never inexpensive but always high-value. This one is no different. Excellent customer service as well and quick shipping.
NICE JACKET
Nice jacket but would have looked like hell in a week or two in the conditions I would have worn it in. If it were pigmented or semi-aniline I would not have sent it back but after feeling the leather I knew it would have absorbed all the dust and dirt which would have been impossible to clean or keep clean.

TRUCKER JACKET
I was a little hesitant about ordering the recommended XL since I normally wear a large, but it was a nice fit, not too tight so I have free range of motion. good quality well made jacket. BTW I'm 5'11' 210 lbs if that helps anyone.

THE 121 ROCKS
Had an opportunity to buy my first high-end leather jacket. I knew I had to buy a Schott - given their history with leather goods and attention to detail. Since I'm in LA I figured it would be a good idea to visit their store in La Brea. Oh boy, am I really glad I did! The gentleman who helped me, James, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Schott's jackets. He helped me learn about my tastes and figure out my size. (I thought I would be a small in this but nope I was a medium!) The jacket is AMAZING. A few days in and it's breaking in wonderfully, and the smell is chef's kiss! Don't sleep on this jacket. This is a jacket that should definitely get more recognition from Schott's catalog!

For size, follow the size guide which is very accurate. I'm 5' 7", weigh 177 lbs and size XL is perfect (I take XXL for Schott products for Europe and XL for Made in USA.)
