We went looking for something we thought would be simple: a casual, tough as nails belt that we could wear everyday, for years to come. As it turns out, this was tough to find so we decided to make it. We use heavy weight vegetable tanned Horween steerhide leather and durable finished black buckles that although they are removable, we doubt you will want to. Like everything we do, we make each one by hand so that the quality is guaranteed.

Sturdy & thick construction

It’s a well made belt, sturdy & looks real good with the black buckle, also I noticed that it goes well with all the schott jackets, not just fashionable but functional, my jackets don’t get caught on this buckle like they do on other belts, maybe it was designed like this I don’t know but for me it works well & keep my pants UP!! :-)

One amazing Belt

This belt has filled my search for a Smart looking Jean Belt

I really wanted to like this belt

The belt is well made, the outside part of the belt is amazing especially the buckle. Unfortunately the inside of the belt is not. When I took off my belt it left behind a brown color stain all around my pants (where the belt goes) its obvoius that its coming from the raw leather.
Since I wore out this belt straight out the Schott nyc store (located on Elizabeth st in Manhattan, the tag of the belt was thrown out) I threw out the belt since it no longer qualified for a return based on the return policy. Please note that Schott nyc usually makes great leather products (especially their leather jackets)
