ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS JACKET
So I just got my 232 today (6/16/23) and am wearing it as I write this review. I am a total Schott fanboy, have about a half dozen of their jackets and I love them all

I had been looking at the 232 for a long time but for some unknown reason had never ordered one. About a month ago I finally ordered one in XL and was blown away by the quality and how nice this jacket is. Unfortunately, it was a little tight across the shoulders and had to return it, I am 5'11", 215lbs and normally wear a XL/46.
When I tried to order a 2XL they were out of stock. I contacted Schott and asked when they would be back in stock and was told they were going to discontinue the 232 and would not be making any more of them.
I was bummed because I really liked the jacket. About 3 weeks later I got an email from Schott saying the 2XL was back in stock (only 1) so I immediately ordered it. Denise in customer service told me in an online chat that they had probably had one returned.

I now have the 2XL 232 and it fits perfectly, I'm very happy with it. It's a shame they have discontinued this jacket because it is made of really nice lambskin and is a simple and classy looking style.
The website is showing they still have it in S and M and one XL so if you are thinking about picking one up, now is the time. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
PERFECT
Have sent for a number of Schott Leather Jackets looking for the the perfect jacket for me, finally found it with this jacket.
All Schott jackets share a common denominator, they are full of quality, best I have found. This particular jacket was perfect in style, and the weight of the leather. Many Schott jackets are almost overkill, what I mean is that the leather itself is almost too thick. Not the case with this jacket! Substantial in weight for lamb skin, and I think it will be quite durable, buttery smooth to the touch, and you feel the quality when you touch it and wear it, PERFECT!
LIGHT WEIGHT LEATHER JACKET
I bought this jacket with a lot of hesitation because I wasn't sure about the fit, etc, I figured I'd likely end up returning it. Needless to say the jacket exceeded expectations in fit and quality and I won't be returning it. It's well made and it'll probably last the rest of my life. The leather is unbelievably supple. I'm 5'10", average build and a Large fit perfectly. My only gripe is that the zipper action is really stiff and I'm hoping it's not a defect and that it will get more smooth with more use. Otherwise, it's the perfect light-weight leather jacket.
THIS JACKET EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.
The item arrived within two days of ordering it. I was very impressed with the quality. I used the fit guide on their website, which put me in a size larger than I would have normally ordered, and it fit perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and know this jacket will last a very long time.
GREAT JACKET
Love this jacket. Real soft leather but not super thin. Was nervous getting a large but it fits perfect. Not too big. Wears good with a hoodie underneath. I would recommend this jacket to someone who wants a true leather jacket. Can’t go wrong with this one!
