IT'S GOOD
Sizing runs a bit on the larger side, I typically fall between small and medium; the small fits me well. Only complaints are the hand pockets are a bit small and placed awkwardly low and to the sides of the jacket. Hood drawstrings and attachments seem a bit cheaply made. Otherwise good.
EXCELLENT CRAFTSMANSHIP
This is now my 4th jacket purchased from Schott. My first was the navy peacoat, second a green peacoat, third a thick and heavy shawl, and fourth this yellow rain coat.
All 4 of the products have been 5/5 and excellently crafted. This rain jacket has very high quality stiching/seams, I like the general pockets and handwarmer pockets, the zipper is sturdy, and the waterproofing is flawless.
I ran the sleeve under my running sink and the water was flying off the sleeve and the coat stayed completely dry. I'm looking forward to beating this jacket up and seeing how it holds up over the years. Highly recommend this jacket.
MY FIRST HOODED PARKA
Living near the ocean I needed a hooded parka for those rainy and misty days. This parka is excellent looking and provides protection from the elements. When its cold and rainy a sweater under this garment is all you need to stay warm and dry. Everything about this parka is satisfying; pockets, hood, style and fit. I exchanged the large for a medium because I like a tampered fit. Normally I wear a large in everything being 6' and 185 lbs for reference.
THE PERFECT RAIN JACKET
I am thrilled with this jacket. I ordered a size large and it was too big but Schott made the return easy and the medium fits my frame perfectly. I’m 5ft 10 170 lbs for reference. The jacket pops. The buttons are eye catching, the hood is a bonus for rainy days and the amount of pockets is exceptional for carrying all my stuff. I will wear this for the rest of my life. If you’re on the fence, buy it!
GREAT RAIN COAT
This jacket replaced an older Columbia rain jacket and it is even better than I expected! The seams are well stitched and the quality of the fabric is incredible. The rain just beads off this jacket and keeps me dry even under the worst of weather!
