I am a man of many jackets. The Schott Per70 is the best one in my closet. The medium is a perfect fit for my 5' 8", 145 lb. frame. The style is legendary, the worn-in look authentic. The jacket is comfortable on a motorcycle, having breakfast at the diner, or just relaxing with friends. Strangers regularly comment on how great it looks. Who says time travel isn't possible? Put it on, and you're transported back to the 1950s. Extraordinary.
This is a rugged high quality jacket unique by it's well vintaged (not overdone) style. I am 6'4", 220lbs, and a 46 suit size with broad shoulders. Using the online fit guide, I went with a 2XL since I like it more loose so that I can wear a sweatshirt underneath and still have some wiggle room. That works well. Being on the tall side of the spectrum, I especially like the long sleeves: It's a real motorcycle jacket. If you like it more snug XL would likely work too. My size was out of stock and I had to wait ~2.5 weeks, but it's very much worth it. Great product in superior Schott quality. Would buy it again and highly recommend it.
Waiting the time and am really happy that I was waiting
Cool jacket. I wear a 519 in the same size and this is great!
This is the fourth jacket from Schott I have purchased in the last 10 yrs. All of them have been of outstanding craftsmanship and attention has been paid to the fine details. As far as looks go this is by far my favorite. I called the store before purchasing the jacket to have a professional suggest what size I should get based on my weight, height and chest size. I am 6' ft, 180 lbs chest 42 in. I was told I would definitely need a large and that the jacket would fit a little snug because it was fitted. When I received it in the mail I tried it on and noticed it fit, well lets just say a little snug. I immediately called Schott and told them I thought it fit kinda too snug. They ask for my measurements again and said that was indeed the size I needed. She said wear it for awhile and you'll get used to the snug fit. I'm beginning to realize there's a difference between snug and tight only because the stitching around the sleeve connecting the shoulder especially under the arm pit is looking a little stressed from moving in positions which require shoulders or reaching. I was going to return it early last week for an xtra lg. but read their return policy asking to please not remove the tags. Well, I still have the tags but I removed them. So I guess I own it. I would in no way bad mouth Schott. They have been awesome to me over the yrs. I'm just letting anyone know. If you wear a lg "GET AN EXTRA LG." or you'll be returning it. Again, It's an absolutely impeccable piece of workmanship...
