After staring at the Per70 online for the last 2-3 years, I finally ordered one earlier this week. I was prepared to be disappointed, thinking there was no way the jacket could live up to about 40 insanely great reviews, or if did, it wouldn't fit well. But it does. It just does. Amazing. I'm 6'3", 225 lbs,, with a 46" chest. I ordered the XL.. It fits perfectly in the shoulders. I was worried the sleeves wouldn't be long enough, but they're perfect, too. Love the way it was distressed. Ordered on Tuesday, delivered to Chicago on Friday. It just sucks that I have to take it off occasionally to shower. I'm in love.
The distressing on my PER70 was a little extra, but it doesn't matter all that much. It's a seriously badass jacket with that classic 50s/70s vibe. It's literally perfect. I am 168lbs, 5'6 with a muscular build and the medium fit like it was made for me. This jacket is a 100% win, but it's distressed looking so make sure you like that look. It was a lot of money, but I'm glad I did it. It's officially the best jacket I've ever owned. I'll wear it to the death.
If you are looking for a top quality jacket, Schott is the way to go. All the details are insane. I got this one in a size small. I’m 6’1 and 80kilos and wanted a slim fit look and it’s perfect.
This jacket captures all the essence of what a broken in jacket should be. The distressing is honestly minimal and the finish is great. I've gotten so many compliments on it. I originally ordered a medium per the size guide and should have stayed with it but exchanged it for a large which fits great but eh medium, upon further reflection, was the best. I hastily thought it was too small but it would have broken in and been just right. My large is not too big at all, but just isn't as slim fitting as the medium. I just bought a 626 in a medium and the fit is absolutely insane. Trust the size guide. Per70 is a little heavier than the 626, so I'm actually glad to have both. Those are the 2 best looking and best fitting double rider style jackets they sell that have bi-swing arms. If you want a jacket for good looks and a great fit for going to concerts and such, then either get the Per70 or the 626, you simply cannot go wrong. The per70 having a duller flatter type finish out of the box but the 626 will dull up a bit too after breaking in. Both of these are their strongest contenders in my opinion and are wildly popular because they capture the look and the fit perfectly. If you are on the fence about either model, don't be. They are effing badass. You will instantly be empowered with a state of awesomeness.
Has the look and feel you are looking for. Has a snap for the buckle. Awesome fitted feel. Have received complements everyday I've worn it practically. I bought the Per70 and also a 234 which is also amazing as well as a 626vn for my girlfriend. All the jackets have surpassed our expectations on every level. Magnitudes better than the cheap jacket you had in high school. Broken in like a pair of jeans right out of the box. Enjoy the elevated confidence that comes with wearing this classic jacket.
Awesome jacket. Perfecto in every way. I am 6 ft 2 180 lb and I got a large.
I ride a Harley Davidson as my daily. The leather in the PER 70 is so nice and it looks like I have worn this jacket for the 30 years! I did get a Knox under armor as the jacket does not come with armor. I do feel my that the thick quality vegetable tan leather and the jackets construction will definitely hold up for the next 100 years. If you are on the fence about this jacket just pull the trigger and get it. If you like that vintage look and feel this your next best thing. I will be having this jacket tailored. I orders an XL because I’m wearing armor. The jacket is a bit relaxed and and waist area is too big. I am 6.1 ht l, have a 44.5 in chest and wear a 32 inch waist. I called the Schott store in LA and they referred me a tailor near by. As an everyday jacket without armor the Large would have been perfect. The XL fits me like the model in the Schott website. Little big. Thanks for keeping your quality high Schott family!
I own several Schott leather jackets and love them all. I had a 618 that I bought used from the Harley dealer when I bought my first new street bike back in ‘98. Sadly I let it go after a few years but always missed it. I thought about buying a new one but there’s just something about a broken in biker jacket that, well, makes it a biker jacket. I finally broke down and tried the per70 and couldn’t be happier! The fit is a little slimmer and more modern which is a plus for me. The distressing is convincing and well done. The finish seemed a bit dull and dry but a little conditioner made it pop. I’m 6’ 185 and the L is a good fit with a little extra room to layering underneath. If you want a biker/rock n roll style jacket that looks like you’ve been wearing it for a decade buy this one. You’ll love it!
This is my second schott jacket and it is perfect, amazing quantity and attention to details, thanks for keeping up with the best quality as always.
The quality is way better than the Harley Davidson jackets I have. This is THE badass jacket. I put 4 stars cause its very expensive, but its made in USA. I usually wear XL, but the site recommend XXL, and it is perfect. I'm 6’1, 220lbs and athletic.
Service by Denise in chat was A+, thanks!
