I’m 6’-1” tall and 185 lbs with athletic build. I measure 34-1/2” waist and 33” inseam with a tape measure. I purchased JN2301 and JN 2402 in size 34. They are both made from raw, unsanforized denims that shrink a lot upon washing and drying, so the final fit you get depends on how you treat them. They are different initial cuts: JN2301 measured 36” waist, 35” inseam, and 11” front rise from crotch seam to top of waistband; whereas JN2402 measured bigger in all dimensions @ 37” waist, 37” inseam, and 11-1/2” front rise. I washed JN2301 once on normal cycle in warm water and air-dried them, and now they measure 35” waist, 33” inseam, and 10-1/2” front rise. They fit me perfectly, like they were custom made, and the denim is dense, soft, and flexible. These are the nicest, best-fitting, most comfortable heavy-duty jeans I have ever owned. I washed JN2402 once on normal cycle in warm water and dried them to completion on warm heat, and now they measure 36” waist, 35” inseam, and 11” front rise. They are still a little bit too big for me, and though the JN2402 denim feels and looks great, it is not as luxurious as JN2301. But they fit me well over thin long underwear, which will serve me well this winter, and they can be conveniently machine-dried, so I am very happy with them, too.

Excellent trousers, thick and comfortable. Just one thing, order one size more than the size you wear. Fits small.

Great heavy denim. I put it on wet, after washing warm inside-out. Waist expanded 1-1.5 inches after a day/hours of wear. Fantastic looking, with my only complaints being that the rise is very low and the fly needs another button. That is, the fly starts too far above the crotch seam.
Quality of workmanship and materials is as good as it gets. I ordered two more pairs.
