POOR QUALITY CONTROL
The stitching is inconsistent, especially at the top of the hat. I expect better quality control from a company like Schott, however I know wool is not their specialty. I recommend inspecting the cap in person before purchasing to make sure the stitching looks good so you don’t have to go through the return process. I will probably not be purchasing another hat from them.
NICE, BUT TIGHT.
Similar to other reviews here - while this is a substantial knit cap, it is snug when first worn.
I've yet to wear it enough to "break it in", but this cap definitely needs such.
NICE HAT BUT TIGHT.
Nice quality hat but too small and tight for my fat head. Not really stretchy enough to wear without getting a headache. I'd recommend it if you have a smaller head or less hair.

WARMEST HAT I OWN
This cap reminds me of my Navy Watch Cap that I got in boot camp a million years ago. All wool, so nice and warm. When I first got it it was a little tight (I've got a big head) but it loosened up and is my favorite cold weather cap.

Super watch cap. Nicely made, fits fine, good shape on head, warm. Just like the watch cap I was issued and wore as a sailor in the US Coast Guard 59 years ago. Very pleased with purchase.
