MY FAVORITE HOODIE
I've had a cheap zip up for awhile and was on the look for something better and this was it. Worth the price all the way. Made in USA. I sized up once and the fit was perfect, even after a wash no shrinkage for me.
GREAT US MADE HOODIE
The hoodie is best in quality, I recommend using the size guide online. Mine fits great but a bit slim cut. If you want a slouchy house hoodie size up.
I am always Large or XL and I chose the XL fits but not loose.
I highly recommend!
ZIP HOODIE
I'm not sure. Overall the hoodie color, weight and zipper are great. Some of the stitching seems off. The stitching seems on the inside are perfect. Some on the outside (especially around pockets) are very rough and hap hazard. Was that the look they were shooting for? Maybe that is why they were marked down. Just curious!
Response from Schott NYC: Thank you for the review. The distressed looking seams were intended. as this was how our many years old sweatshirt looked. The seams will still be as strong as new!
...ONLY 1 PROBLEM
The absolute best construction, material and fit. The zipper is on another level as hoodies are concerned and it is about the only one on the market with no logo whatsoever. What’s the problem you ask? ...no sweatpants to go with it! I know Schott isn’t in the sweatpants business, but how awesome would a pair of those be!!! Everything I own from here is of the highest quality and the best value, can’t wait for my next purchase!!
SKEPTICISM RESOLVED
I don't normally leave reviews, but since there are none I feel implicated. I was a bit unsure if I should spend this much on a hoodie, but I did because if the quality was anything like my 530 leather jacket I would be in good hands. The first thing I noticed is that the color was darker than in the pictures and it could be my monitor/color settings or their lighting because it seems more navy opposed to indigo, but either way the color is still very nice. The stitching as far as I can tell is good and the overall feel/weight of the hoodie is very nice. I love how thick the hood is on the hoodie and the fit of the hoodie on me is like a glove. My 530 leather jacket is 2XL because of my broad shoulders and I bought this in XL to wear underneath it. Zipping up the hoodie is buttery smooth. It's currently winter time where I'm at and this hoodie keeps me warm under my leather jacket and Schott's statement of "Made to feel like your favorite worn in sweater, while built to last" is something I can stand by because I am considering getting the pullover hoodie now. Thanks if you read this far.
AWESOME HOODIE
This is exactly what I was looking for. A cozy zip up hoodie that you can just toss on over anything and not have to pull over your head. The fabrics is high quality and the zipper is too. Very minimalistic and not flashy with branding which I really like. The only thing keeping it from the 5 stars is I imagined it being more worn or patina looking after reading the 3 wash dye process. This was jet black to me no real sings of pre aging. But maybe mine was just skipped. Also again maybe mine was a lemon but the seam where the front hand pocket is is separating from the jacket. And I just inboxed it. For this price I want each stitch line to be closed up. Lastly I got the XL and I’m 6’2” 205lbs and it is tight around the body when zipped and a lil short but I don’t mind I know my torso is a bit long. Fits well all in all but personally I was going for a baggy relaxed fit for this one so I’d order the XXL next time. Great hoodie!
