    BEST LOOKING YET!

I should first state that I am a huge Schott fan. My first purchase was the 141L which has been my main riding jacket. Then I wanted something a little different and purchased the 585 Vintage cowhide. I absolutely love these jackets!
Now Schott introduced the CAF1 HH ....of course I had to get it. Ordered the XL....must be slim fit because it's the first XL in anything that has been too tight. Returned for the XXL which I am waiting on now. I really like the look of this jacket and plan to use it riding and wear it to work. I also like the fact the horsehide is very water resistant...we will see!

    CAFE RACER

This is a well made (in the USA) leather jacket from an American original, the Schott brothers. I loved the jacket but felt the medium sleeve length was too long for me so I exchanged it for a sized cafe racer jacket which I received today and I couldn't be happier with the product. I haven't taken it off since opening the box! Additionally the exchange was simple by mail. The service throughout my purchase was entirely beyond expectation.

    GORGEOUS

I hear that they are discontinuing this model. Wrong decision in my opinion. I've wanted this jacket since I heard about the brand a few years ago. Never really could afford it. Finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Fits like a glove. I bought xxl. I'm 6 ft and around 250 so not a little guy. Get it while you can people. You will not be disappointed.

    ABSOLUTELY KILLER

i purchased one of these jackets a few months ago, and it was my first ever purchase from schott. it's difficult to overstate how impressed i am with the quality; $850 isn't pocket change, but this jacket is worth well more than that. i'm now a loyal schott customer for life.

this jacket is unbelievably well made. the leather is high quality and seriously heavy duty; the craftsmanship is superb. this jacket fits so well it may as well have been custom made specifically to my measurements. i'm about 6'3" and 250 lbs, and normally wear a size large, but since this jacket is cut slim, i order an XL and it fits like a glove. it's easily the most comfortable jacket - leather or otherwise - that i've ever owned. the only feature i'm not completely sold on is the cotton lining in the sleeves. on the one hand, that makes wearing the jacket over a t-shirt very comfortable; on the other hand, it makes putting it on over a long sleeve shirt a little difficult sometimes. the shirt sleeves like to stick to the jacket sleeve lining a bit. short of that, this is a perfect jacket.

    THIS IS THE REAL DEAL.

Style/Quality: This style has never been out of fashion since the "40's. No flaps, belts, extra pockets, just pure style. This is an elegant less-is-more jacket, the one thousands of manufacturers fail at imitating. Beautiful style, beautiful materials, beautiful construction.

Sizing: This jacket runs large. I'm 5'8", 185#, 41.5" chest. I normally wear a 42. The large was comically oversized, and even the medium is plenty big to get a Primaloft liner underneath. Schott's 141, size 42 was much snugger than the Caf1 medium. Although this is a fitted jacket, I'm thinking about getting the waist slimmed. Believe me, I'm no scrawny waif.

Service: I ordered my jacket in the week after Hurricane Sandy (half of NYC was under water.) Jerri sincerely apologized that I'd have to wait a few extra days for my jacket, and to make up for it, she expedited shipping. Need a return? Exchange? Done! Excellent, customer-centered service.

    GREAT COAT

Just got my CAF1 today. This is one sharp coat! I'm 6'1", 175 pounds, 36" sleeve length. The size large is a very good fit for me including perfect sleeve length. The leather is high quality and thick. The plaid lining is very cool. The zippers are first rate. This jacket is expensive but you get what you pay for with this one. The ordering and shipping process was smooth. Looking forward to wearing this jacket on a nice long ride on a cool day. No regrets on this purchase and very happy to buy USA.
