I've had a number of the Schott leather jackets - all made with such quality - however, I've found that over time I get more daily use out of a lighter jacket (vs. a beefy Moto). This jacket is perfect - typical Schott quality construction and fit. I'm 6'1 / 180lbs and the large fit me perfectly. Love that the sleeves are lined - slides on easily. Also, I really like the simplicity - nothing ornamental - just classic style. Highly recommend.
A 582 TO COMPLEMENT A 141
A great jacket that complements my 141 (and a classic canvas trucker).. The look and smell of the leather oozes its very high quality look and construction. It's a leather jacket style that is not very common (like a Perfecto) so it does get the looks. Ordered it blind and the Medium is perfect for my build. It being unlined is ideal for the So Cal climate. I'm one satisfied customer...
PERFECT LIGHTWEIGHT LEATHER
I had been looking for a leather jacket that I could wear to work, out on the town, and would be comfortable while driving. I also did not want the "suit of armor" which my previous jacket was.
I'm 56 yrs old., 5'9" and 170 lbs., semi-athletic build.
The size Large fits me perfectly.
The leather has a nice waxy, substantial, high-quality feel to it - and is pretty much broken in from day 1.
My previous leather jacket was way too heavy for me (8+ lbs). I'm so happy I came across the Schott website. Customer service answered my questions very well, which helped me make my selection.
Not an inexpensive jacket by any means, but I feel it's worth every penny, as I'll have this to pass down to my son.
Even though it says "unlined" in the product title, it does have lining in the sleeves, which helps with a very easy on/off wearability.
I live in New England and wanted a jacket for spring and very early fall. This fits the bill!

So nice. I have a 626 large and have been wanting a style like 582. 6ft 215 lbs, 44in chest 36in waist. I was in between L and XL according to Schott size guide. I went with XL and its standard fit with some room to move. Leather is very nice, sleeves are lined and I have no issues with the remaining jacket being unlined, no snagging or awkwardness. This was my first "unlined" leather. Speedy shipping, I will be a lifelong customer,

Just got my 582 jacket today. Great look all around, no complaints. As for sizing… I’m 5’9” and 215 lbs. The 2XL was def the right size. I considered the XL according to the size guide with my chest measurements but after trying on the 2XL the XL def would not have fit.
NICE AND PLEASANT.
This is my first jacket without the lining. It feels stiff when worn, but after a few days of wearing it becomes softer and adapts perfectly to the body. Now it is my favorite jacket. I recommend.
VERY NICE JACKET
I am 6'1", 235Ibs, and ordered the XL. The fit is perfect. I could smell the leather from outside the box. The quality of the hide is great. It is soft enough but not too soft. The jacket forms to my body and is not stiff like other leather jackets. This leather will look even better when worn and it develops patina.
GREAT JACKET
Love the color and snug fit in the arms. The unlined body feels great but the jacket is a bit bigger in the body than I’d expect. Beautiful color.

This jacket is amazing top of the line quality I’m 6’4” 215 pounds and an XL Fits me perfect. Basically what I’m trying to say is if you’re a man and appreciate well built goods buy the jacket you won’t regret it.
INSTANT CLASSIC
Simple and classic jacket that will always be cool and never go out of style. I've tried every top-tier brand out there and at the end of the day you won't find a better overall product dollar for dollar/pound for pound. I love the unlined jackets...I bought the #375 Roughout recently and liked it so much I needed this one as well. The advantage of the unlined jackets is that they are not boxy or puffy but fitted for a sexier look. And no, they are not hard to put on and take off. The color is rich and luxurious and the smell is devine. If you are in between sizes my advice is to size down. I'm 6' 180 and a Medium fits me perfectly.
