GREAT JACKET
Not sure how long this review will be posted since this style is being discontinued. But the Jacket is beautiful and leather soft. It's not as soft and flexible as the 246 but still a great deal. Denise is top notch.
JACKET 546 LIGHTWEIGHT COWHIDE DELIVERY JACKET IN NUTMEG
Order this jacket in XL because of my 67 year old body. As a result, the sleeves were a bit long but Jerri in alterations fixed that and returned the jacket quickly. Fits perfect. This is a beautiful jacket/color. More of a light brown color. Great buy.
AMAZING QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP[
Superbly designed leather jacket with elegant design, high quality leather, and solid craftsmanship. It is heavier than I expected and it is definitely a jacket for a lifetime. I highly recommend it!
A GREAT JACKET
I own a number of Schott coats and this one is already a favorite. The leather is beautifully tanned, its nutmeg color rich, and the workmanship flawless. Although the coat is light in weight, it is not insubstantial. In a word, this is a beautiful garment, one that I will value for years.
BEAUTIFUL LIGHTWEIGHT SCHOTT 546
I have a definite "style" of Leather Jacket that I prefer. I am 6' 1" 185 lbs and in my 40's and ordered the Large, I don't ride so I prefer more of a "dress jacket." I bought a Schott 673 Heavyweight last year and have been very happy with it. It is beefy and stout. I wanted something similar in a lighter weight jacket, still with a collar and centered zipper and this 546 is exactly what I needed!
I don't care for bombers with cuffs or jackets with buckles and belts . I also prefer slash pockets on the front like this jacket has. The inside pocket is a nice bonus and I like the snap feature which is absent on my 673. Like it, the pocket is perfectly deep to slide in a phone and not have it ruin the line of the jacket. One item of mention that I really like is the leather pull on the zipper. I was a bit bummed that was not on the 673.
The 673 and 546 jackets are nearly identical in make-up and even have the same cotton liner. It is buttery soft and amazingly comfortable! One is heavy and the other is lightweight.
Someone mentioned it was orange in color, I see where that could be said, but I don't see that as the case, it is actually darker than the website pictures and has that hint of orange but is really a lighter brown.
As with any Schott, the quality of materials is top notch! Very happy with this addition to my wardrobe.
INCREDIBLE COLOR, LOOK, AND FEEL.
Lightweight and very high quality. Leather is waxy and feels incredible. Color is stunning in person... it is slightly orangish. Jacket feels and looks great. Runs a bit small and tight in the chest... something to consider if you plan on wearing it zipped up. Inner lining is cotton and also feels great. Highly recommend this jacket, if your on the fence. It’s worth the price tag.
