Our smooth touch cowhide A-2 flight jacket is an updated, lightweight version of the military style made famous by Lou Reed, JFK and Indiana Jones. The pull up luggage leather looks vintage in no time. We added a hidden snap down collar and additional inside pocket in the poly twill lining.

NOTHING IS PERFECT
This jacket once again proves the old saying that nothing is perfect. I genuinely admire and respect the Schott brand, and I very much wanted to give it a five-star review. However, the leather on the left sleeve is so noticeably different in texture from the rest of the jacket that it makes me feel like a pebble stuck in my throat. A light pinch with fingers makes it even clearer that it is significantly thinner than the other parts of the jacket, thin enough to make me worry it might not hold up over time.
Unfortunately, in the moment I received the jacket, my excitement got the better of me and I failed to examine it carefully and removed the tag, which means I can no longer exchange it.
GREAT JACKET - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This type of leather is really fantastic, great fit, XXL -6’2”” 230lbs. It is a lighter feel of leather than the normal Scott leather jacket. I give this jacket 5 stars, but with one item that needs improvement - a better zipper for a $1000 jacket.
AWESOME LEATHER JACKET
Beautiful Leather, great fit with XXL - 6’2” at 235lbs, Scott should make more lightweight leather jackets with type leather in different colors. I would only suggest one item regarding this jacket. I would prefer a better high quality zipper.
VERSATILE AND USEFUL
I am fully satisfied.
Quality and color of the leather make this particular version of A-2 very interesting.
It can surely be worn for the whole spring, and depending on local weather conditions also even in both certain summer and winter days.
It's useful, and this is what really matters. In the meanwhile windbreaking and transpiring, its lightness allows to bring it if necessary in one hand without fatigue.
Leather is subtile and however strong with a good strenght, resisting to water and other accidents. Aspects like simplicity and comfort due to the position and size of the pockets are relevant.
In order to choose the right size instrument on Schott NYC site is very good and for further help people at customer service are very very serious and professional.
