PHENOMENAL CRAFTSMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. A WORK OF ART. WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Am loving the cleaner, minimalistic style. I have another Schott Perfecto - same size - which is more fitted. The Shinki Perfecto is roomier and easily accommodates extra layers. Also, not mentioned in Schott's description is the fact this jacket has a two-way zipper. By zipping the bottom zipper up a bit I have plenty of room to sit and stay zipped since the jacket is less tight around the waist.
AMAZING LEATHER
Got this as my second Perfecto. You just cannot praise the amazing Shinki horsehide on this one enough. Smell, hand and an amazing heft! I got the size "L" which corresponds roughly to my size 44 613SH and couldn´t be happier with the fit. The pattern is more generous than the more boldly "V-shaped" classic Perfectos, but I was after a jacket that I can use in three seasons. The "reduced" look without epaulettes and belts are questions of taste, of course, but adds to the varsatility of the jacket. Special thanks to the Schott team for being there to answer my questions pre purchase and for getting this jacket across the Atlantic in record time.
GORGEOUS JACKET
The quality and craftsmanship of this jacket are spectacular. The design of the back of the jacket and the one piece back panel are some of the highlights. The leather straps on the zippers are also tasteful. The photos of this jacket really don't do it justice. I walked into the San Francisco Schott store just expecting to try on some jackets, thinking I would buy one early next year, but after spending over an hour with it and some other jackets, I had to have this one. I've only had it for a week and I've received so many comments when I wear it out. I have a Schott peacoat and a cafe jacket, but this one is just next level. Thanks to Schott for pulling this one off. Very well done!
