beautiful jacket, extremely well made. A bit heavier than expected. I was not aware that the suede could NOT be protected ted and should not be worn in a light rain.
HEAVY FOR SUEDE, NOT LEATHER.
I was a little worried that this would be too heavy for the warmer climate I live in. It’s not. It feels pretty similar to the 626 I have when it was new. That jacket felt pretty heavy at first, but get much lighter once it broke in (like 2 years later.) I’m guessing this will be the same.
Also guessing that the heavy goat suede refers to it being heavy for suede, which it is. It’s much heavier than some of the other suede jackets I’ve tried from Schott, but about average for the leather motos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SUPERIOR QUALITY
Can't say enough about this brand, recently discovered them through a department store and so glad they are local and American made. the fit is perfect and it will keep you warm!

This first jacket sent was an XL and just too big. The large sent as an exchange fit well and is absolutely terrific!
GREAT VERSATILE JACKET
Overall, great jacket and well fitting. About as heavy as other Schott leather jackets, maybe just a touch more. A couple things worth knowing; the suede leather is very fine like a micro suede. Resultantly, it feels like it grips whatever you might be sitting/leaning on. The wool lining is about as thick as a medium weight flannelette shirt. This is a benefit to me as I live in a warmer climate. Makes for a versatile jacket in a variety of weather conditions. The wool lining is a touch itchy but no big deal at all. The above comments aren’t negative, just worth knowing. I love the style, I can see this becoming a regular jacket.
MUST HAVE ALL AROUND
Another well designed, functional Schott jacket. I happen to have a few! A minimalist design that is least cluttered wth timelessness in mind. Regardless of time, location, this jacket is suitable. The lining feels good. The leather is supple and soft to the touch as I expected of goat skin. The fit is comfortable even with layering. And it is not bulky nor heavy as I thought it might be.
