    I will preface this by saying I own 6 Schott jackets. I love them all and got this one to add to my rotation.

    If I didn’t have such a positive history with Schott coats I probably would have thought this one was fine. However, compared to other Schott jackets, this one is a disappointment. It feels cheap and not well insulated.

    NICE WEIGHT

    The jacket has a nice weight to it. Not too light. Sizing runs roomy. It has a shirt jacket fit. No inside pocket. Outside shirt pocket on chest is limited due to size. Hands pockets are angled in a way that I worry about items falling out..
    Minus the pockets I like the quality of the garment. It seems durable enough. Great concept but not executed 100 %

    I LIKE IT BUT...

    I commute a lot between Los Angeles and San Francisco to work. I needed something warm enough for Cold windy SF mornings but not heavy or bulky. This one fits the bill. Warm but light. True fit to size with enough room over office wear. Looks neat and can dress it up or down. Could use just a little more collar. I would give this 5 stars but turns out it is made in China. I should’ve looked closer at the micro tag “China”. One of the main reasons I walked into Schott store was American Made.

    This is a great overskirt/jacket for those 40-50 degree morning hikes. Very light, warm and great fit. No bulk and it has a casual dress look. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
