I am giving this shirt only two stars because it runs small. I generally fit between large and XL. This Xl CPO shirt is an XL and is short in the sleeve and too small across the shoulders and back. I guess if I want one that fits I'll need to order a double X L.
I have never had to buy an XXL in any garment before.
I bought this for my husband. It looks and fits perfectly on him. He’s 5’9”” and 160. I got the medium and I’m glad I did. There is room to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath without looking bulky. The wool is thick and warm. I just wish the collar was lined so that I could wear it too!
Upstate NY in winter is usually chilly and often damn cold. I go for wool shirts and sweaters and when I saw this CPO I didn’t hesitate. Schott recommended I get Large but I opted for Medium to make it more shirt/less jacket. Good choice. (I’m 5’ 10”, 185 and athletic)
The fabric is thick, heavy, tightly woven. Surprisingly smooth on the skin but I usually wear it over a light, long-sleeved tee. The fabric will remind you of the Schott Pea Coat if you are familiar (I have one of them, too, and it’s fantastic).
Cut is sharp and flattering and I will call it expertly made. Cuff details, pocket details - really nice.
If it came with epaulettes, I’d probably go for that but whatever. I will definitely get more colors.
happy with my CPO shirt would really love it if it were bigger so I could wear it as a jacket. I’d order a larger size but I’m afraid the sleeves would be way too long.
The CPO shirt is well made and fits true to size
As soon as I received my shirt today I ordered another one in a different color. Upon lifting it from inside the envelope I felt a hefty garment spilling out. I love feeling " Heft" in fabric.
This shirt fits like all Smalls from Schott. I am 5'10" 153 lbs 15 1/2 neck 17.5 shoulders 33 sleeves 31 waist and it fits me beautifully .
I prefer this model over the Schott lined CPO shirt because I can layer these under a peacoat. The lined CPO are more shirt jackets and therefore outwear oriented.
They used to be navy blue only. Now there are color choices. I chose the gray one. Perfect fit based on their sizing chart. Very comfortable and warm.
This shacket runs quite large, so I’d recommend sizing down. I ended up wearing a size small despite the recommended size being a medium. FYI I’m 6’0” tall, 170lbs and have a 40” chest. The construction of this garment is quite nice, so I’m confident it will last a while.
I had a Navy surplus CPO shirt decade ago.
This version is excellent. The fabric quality is top notch. It is wind and light rain resistant. The cut is excellent as well. The price is also great. Many comparable one are way more expensive. The sizing runs a little small. If you are in between or like a looser fit, order up
Good weight,nice colors,stylish.Like it.
