BEAUTIFUL JACKET
What an amazing jacket, great quality and finish. The color is beautiful. I called Schott for assistance on sizing, glad that I did. I am 5ft 8in and weigh 143. Staff recommended a size medium and they were right. It fits perfectly. The removable belt is a nice feature. Overall, I am very pleased.
A MUST HAVE
Order one size up. Breaks in very quickly. Great value. As always the fit and quality of workmanship is second to none. Great for your Leather Jacket collection. Holds you safe . Has a unique feel of leather. Love the removable belt. Glad it arrived in time for my recent trip to Seattle , had so many compliments on how they loved my jacket.

I saw this jacket and I knew immediately I had to have it. It is beautiful., well designed and the fit is excellent. The color is stunning, and the feel and smell are heavenly. I look forward to this piece being a wardrobe staple for a very long time. Also, Schott customer service is unparalleled.
WORTHY ADDITION TO THE SCHOTT PERFECTO LINEUP
Usual five star Schott quality, design details and craftsmanship . The online catalog description is accurate. I have several Perfectos, from over the years. I've always fit right into a Large, with no alterations required. This one is just a tad tighter than the standard black models - not so much that it didn't fit, but definitely snug and has a slimmer silhouette overall. Too soon to know about break-in characteristics, but I expect it'll loosen up beautifully.
MUST HAVE
Quality fit style is one you got to have for your collection. Im a perfect 42. So i ordered a Large . Can tell Leather going to break in fast . I love the fact you can remove the belt. Do like the brown when you want the biker jacket look with a totally different feeling. Very sexy jacket . .
AWESOME
Fit - perfect (Size M, 150lbs, 5'10", 40" chest, 32" waist - no handles or beer belly)
Really nice taper from shoulders to waist. Love the removable belt.
Smell - more perfect than they say. I have large collection of leather goods and there is only one horsehide A-2 that smells even close to this. The A-2 is over 45 years old. I put the jacket on the back of my desk chair when I am not wearing it so I can smell it!
Color - ideal compliment to jeans and so much more. Much more subtle than traditional black but still very classic styling. The lining is awesome fabric pattern and style too.
Leather - heavy weight but breaking-in fast. Beautiful character.
Snaps - all good.
Zippers - pretty sharp, they are scratching/chewing up the wrist side seams of the sleeves. Hopefully they patina over time will resolve this.
BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT WORTH THAT PRICE. IT HAS ISSUES.
The price of this jacket is ridiculous, especially considering the issues I have found with it.
Though the Horween leather is absolutely gorgeous, the design of this jacket is seriously lacking. Worst of all is the stiff, single-ply belt. Though I really like full belts that encircle the body and are removable, this one is held in place by only THREE loops! That’s a ridiculous cost-cutting measure, especially for a jacket costing this much. Plus the texture of the thick leather of the belt doesn’t really match the leather of the jacket all that well. I will probably be wearing this jacket without the belt. .
One additional issue: though I would prefer having a bi-swing back for motorcycle riding and because Schott jackets are designed for physiques that tend to run toward the frail end of the spectrum, I have come to grips with the sad fact that this is just a fashion jacket.
