ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
All I can say is that if you're thinking about it, just do it. You won't regret it. The quality is top tier and its easily the coolest piece of clothing I own and probably ever will own.
Sizing: I'm 5'9", 39.5" chest, 30" waist, 170lb, athletic build. If you have these measurements, the 40 will fit like a glove. You won't be able to layer a sweater underneath so if that's your goal than go with the 42. When I tried on the 40, it was borderline uncomfortably tight in the armpits and elbows, but after wearing for ~week it's broken in well and is a comfortable fit. They aren't kidding with the slim fit, if you have a little more to love around the midsection it will be a tight fit. Overall a fantastic jacket, the only thing I would have liked is for it to be available in person instead of online so I could have tried it on before ordering.
A KEEPER
Love the look…the contrasting zippers gives it the right amount of flare. The small pocket is stylish and I haven’t decided of the star on the shoulders yet…. I agonized over the size before purchasing…I am 6’ 1”,-182lbs with a 39.5 chest & 32 waist, the fit calculator put me in a 42 or 40 depending if you round up or down on the chest measurement. I’m glad I went with the 40….I prefer a more tailored fit and the arm length and body length were perfect. The sleeves were snug at first but quickly stretched and conformed to my arm. The only thing I wished it had was a two way front zipper….the jacket body is still stiff and if you sit down while still zipped the body hikes up, I assume this will change as I break this in over time. The jacket built is very sturdy and haven’t noticed any fragile sections.

I have the Cafetco in a 38, fits me perfectly & its thick leather is braking in very well,
I love all my Schott Jackets but this one is pure MADNESS ;)

CAFECTO MC JACKET
I've been after this jacket for a long time....
Love, love, love the Café neck that makes more sense to me from a Motorcycle rider perspective than the classic. The quality is sublime. Get lots of compliments. Does not however, have an inner pocket. Recommend highly!! I also own the 673 Retro Moto Jacket. Buttery soft.
TOP NOTCH PRODUCT, QUALITY AND SERVICE
Im a long time rider and had been on the hunt for a serious leather jacket to use for both riding and for style and after visiting the Soho NYC location, I settled on this beauty to handle both jobs! After 3 separate hour long visits to try and confirm styles, size & fit, the amazing staff, particularly Keith who was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and most importantly patient, he showed and explained in great detail quite a few different styles and sizes, I ended up going with the 603USA Cafecto. The quality is second to none, its a beauty, the leather is USA strong, which was a huge factor in my jacket search and choice, and the style is not over the top, although I do love the signature Perfecto, which i will be purchasing in the near future as well.
Sizing was an issue because of my short & 150lbs frame, the thought of being able to have enough room for layers on cold riding days had to get taken into account. Size 38 was fine with 1 or a thin layer but was too tight for fleece or sweatshirts or hoodies, so i went with 40. The sleeves on this model are just right or maybe just a tiny bit long for my 5’3-5’4 frame but the 618 and 118’s arms were much longer which i would have to get them taken up some. I’ve only worn it twice so far since we’re in the beginning of cold season here in NY but it feels great. The leather is tough but I'm looking forward to breaking it in and molding to my body.
All this being said, I'm super happy with my selection and look forward to rockin it for many years to come as it will be a staple in my closet and choice for different looks, whether styling out or gettin gritty with the black’d out biker look! Much thanks to the crew for all your help!

Very cool jacket. Initially made for the overseas market, this jacket does run a bit slim, so order one size up. You will love it
PERFECTION
This is not just “a” jacket, it is “the” jacket.
Followed the sizing instructions, which suggested a size 40 even though I am usually a 38 and they were spot on. The jacket fits like a glove, with just enough room to spare should you want to wear a hoodie or a light sweater underwear. Leather is softer than expected, not much of a breaking in period required. Buy it, you will not regret it.
