WARMEST JACKET I'VE EVER WORN

I was chilled at home and put this jacket on and fell asleep in it.

I drove to work with the windows down in frigid temperatures and never got cold.

I walked around in a winter wonderland drinking coffee and felt like a million bucks.

I've been told by multiple people that it is a nice jacket when I wear it. That they like leather and the fur. They ask if I'm about to fly away, "where's the plane?"

I bought this because I wanted a legit leather coat for cold weather. My god is this thing overkill. It is so nice that I felt like I didn't deserve it. I cut the tag anyway, it's mine.

I'm a 40 chest. Tried a 38 first and found it a bit too tight in the back and the sleeves a bit short. Went to the 40, obviously more loose and the sleeves could go to my palms but I like it better for when I reach for things and drive. Roll the sleeve once if you need that 38 sleeve length.

Absolute luxury item. Shearling is top notch.

Fits true to size in my opinion.

Second Schott jacket I own. The other is a cafe racer 550 in a size medium.

I was visiting NYC and wanted to pick up a B3. I stopped on Delancy street to see if I can pick one up. I walked into many stores and all of them tried to sell me something that was NOT a B3 shearling. The guy followed me out of the store and asked what price did I want. to pay. I told him I did not have a price. I told him the jacket is already sold, I just need to find it. I looked at my phone and Schott was only a few blocks away. I walked in, I saw the Jacket, tried it on, fell in love, and took it home. It will be the last winter jacket I will ever have to buy.

My only wish is that they made hats that went along with the jacket.

I received my jacket on Wednesday and I absolutely love it! I was reading reviews from others complaining about the fit of the jacket I'm so glad I stuck to my guns and didn't buy into the so called oversize issue raised by so many. My jacket fits like a glove! Perfect for wearing layers underneath as the coat was originally designed. I'm retired Military (USMC) and appreciate the craftsmanship and the professionalism placed into the construction of each jacket. I bought this in honor of my Grandfather and uncles and cousins that served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I'm an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran and find this jacket absolutely amazing! Well done Schott for making and delivering such a well made jacket! Highly recommended and I plan on getting a B2 jacket next. Semper Fidelis!

SIZING

For those who need info about the sizing: as it is now common knowledge, this jacket runs big. My measurements are: height - 173cm (5'8), weight - 73kg (162 pounds), chest size - 97 cm (38"). Initially I bought a size 38 (the site recommended such size) but it was far too big for me, especially in the shoulders and sleeves. Now I've got myself a size 34. This size would not allow me much in terms of layering but looks-wise it is as close to perfect as it can get.

My suggestion would be to size down at least one size for an "intended" fit and two sizes down for a slim and most "tailored" look.

I’m so finally glad to have an incredible B3 jacket after having a few different ones before this, this one takes the cake! I’ve been wanting this jacket for over a year and the quality and detail on it is phenomenal. It did take me 2 returns to get the right size as I wanted mine to be more fitted and I just want to wear it over a t shirt or a light long sleeve so keep in mind if that’s what you are going for you may want to order two sizes down than what you’re thinking as this jacket is made a bit big. ITS AN AMAZING JACKET!

This is my THIRD jacket from Schott and I'm thrilled. Do not listen to the sizing calculator here - I've got a 42.5" chest (5'10" and 185lbs muscular build) and the calculator put me at a size 42! I bought the 40 assuming it would run large and even that was too big! I wear a 38 just right and it's got a slightly tailored look just like Leon from RE ;)

This review might be a little bit long but informative.

FINALLY. This is literally the jacket of my dreams! I remember seeing the RE4 remake and just thinking that I had to buy it. It is pricey but its undoubtedly a work of art that will last for a lifetime due to its unmatched quality.

NOW FOR SIZING...Heed my words, the jacket is bigger than you think it is. I am 172cm with a 42 inch chest and a very muscular build. The measurements in the site advised me on a size 42 as a "standard" which ended up in me having to return the jacket due to how big the arms and the overall size was!

I received the size 40 today and it fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. That said, if you are looking for a standard fit, unless you are extremely skinny or too overweight, I recommend you to buy one size down from what the site recommends you.

The exchange process was grueling due to fedex charging me again for the duties that I had paid and just a bunch of issues with them understanding that this was an exchange order. I live in Canada so I bet that the exchange must be way easier being in the states.

Overall, while a bit annoyed at the experience with the sizing and the exchange, this jacket is the best one that I have ever received and I love it.
