PERFECT FITTING

SUPERB
I knew this was going to be nice based on the brand and the price - but it still significantly exceeded my own expectations based on other leather jackets I’ve owned over time. Even though it was pricey, I still feel like it was a great value and I’ll definitely be buying again.
A-2 FLIGHT JACKET
This jacket fits perfectly, and is quite striking. A little warm now to use, but come October it will be great daily outwear
5'11" RECOMMENDED M, BUT....
Leather is fantastic for the price, and this is my second Schott. However, one issue is with the length. The shoulder to shoulder is perfect for an athletic build at size medium, but those with long torso will feel the waist is a bit short. I understand that this has to do with the style, but be warned that there will be times when the jacket rises above the waist.
Don't even bother with the Large. The problem is that the shoulders will be too boxy for your frame, and the arm sleeves will go over your arms.
I would prefer another inch to the waist, and deducted a star.
Overall, the Schott sizing tool is near spot on. I have the 543 and the recommended Large size is quite good.
GREAT LEATHER
Very nice leather, substantial in weight but not heavy. The fit was perfect thanks to the too on the website. Best feature is it is made in USA.
FANTASTIC QUALITY AND FIT
I have been avoiding buying a decently priced leather jacket for a long time, this action has resulting in ill-fitting jackets, poorly made jackets, and smelly jackets. This Schott A-2 is none of the above. For the first time in my life, I have managed to find a jacket that is exactly what I was looking for and not a compromise.
The fit of the small ended up being perfect for me at 5’7” and the leather is nice and thick, but very soft. It seems like a good jacket for spring, summer, and fall depending on the temperature, I also like the lining is very minimal, too many jackets have lining that ends up falling apart or makes the jacket too baggy, this one just lets the leather conform to your body.
I am now a Schott fan for life and will probably end up ordering from them again somewhere down the line. Can’t recommend this jacket enough.

TOP NOTCH LEATHER JACKET
This is a beautiful leather jacket. The leather has a very elegant and smooth feel to it. The fit and the length makes it a jacket that can be used with khakis or jeans. Made in the US just adds more to the value:)
SMALL 'P' PERFECTO
I have seen the light. Over the past 40 or so years I have tried to love numerous A2s and inevitably wound up with a broken heart. Well, my new 574 arrived today. It is by no means my first Schott, but still and all I wasn't sure this one would fit the bill until I tried it on. It immediately loved me back. The leather is spot-on perfect for a summer weight flying jacket, which is what the A2 was designed and designated to be; the fit is perfect in the waist, the sleeves and the shoulders - always an area of concern when epaulettes are in the picture; and the construction is stitched perfection - not a miss or a deviation anywhere - every stitch in line and all straight as little soldiers. So, I've converted. Schott has officially won me over. To them, at 6' 4", a 42" waist and a 50" chest, I am a perfect XXL. Their jackets love me just as I am and I love their jackets just as they are; whether the tag says so or not, they're perfecto for me.
