    IT'S WORTH IT

    Great jacket. Great Quality.

    The leather and the wool have a great feel and a great look. Its warmer and thicker than I expected but no complaints about that. I doubt you will find a better quality varsity jacket.

    I went with a medium based off the fit guide and it fits perfect. I can still fit a hoodie under it if i need to.

    I WANTED TO BUY A BRAND NEW SCHOTT VARSITY JACKET MADE IN USA!

    In France it is a little bit difficult to find a varsity jacket made in usa.
    Especially if you want a brand new one. I have never bought a used leather jacket until now.
    The Schott style 770 is a nice match for me. Besides this model is discret like i wanted.

    As for the size i'm 5'11 , 192 lbs with 39 inch for my chest.
    I wanted the Large size but it was unavailable . So i took the risk for the medium size which is ok for a slim fit according to the fit guide of Schott . Fortunately this jacket fits me well when i tried it on, plus I Planned to wear it open with only a short sleeve inside for spring and fall only . So it is fine in my case.
    On the other hand if i want to wear a thick shirt inside for the winter and close the buttons it wouldn't be confortable i think.

    Fortunately i have already few heavy and thick leather jackets for the winter season. like two down leather jackets , one sheepskin leather , two flight leather jackets, one peacoat and so on...

    Otherwise it is my 3rd Schott leather jacket made in usa.
    I have the 793 in olive color with a large size (bought in France) and the Classic Café Racer 141 in brown in the size 40. ( bought in France too).

    And now the 770 in black with the size medium bought directly from the Schott factory in N.J.
    I hope that i will be able to buy a new leather jacket from the factory in a near future despite of the duties and taxes when it arrives at CDG international airport.
    The delivery was very fast about 3 days business with FedeX.

    COOL JACKET

    Very nice and well made jacket. I am 172 cm tall and weigh 72 kg and the jacket in Size M fits perfectly.
    Very fast and easy delivery to germany.
    Therefor from me 5 stars!

    This jacket has everything I was looking for. Classic vintage look, very warm, and stylish.
    The fit is superb. Follow their guidelines on fit and you’ll will be assured the correct size. Absolutely love this jacket!

    A STYLISH UPDATE

    I’ve been hunting for a varsity type jacket for a while now. Most varsity jackets I’ve seen are heinously oversized and poor-fitting. Schott’s version is well designed in terms of fit (I’m 6’3, ~170 pounds, 36 inch chest) and juuuust long enough. You can’t go wrong with the leather and wool, specifically from Schott. The wool is thick and the leather is buttery smooth and soft. I never thought I’d love black on black so much.
