Horween Chromexcel Milled Horsehide Bomber Jacket with real sheepskin collar made in collaboration with 3sixteen.

We sat down with Schott for an afternoon and went through their military archives to find a fit that fell perfectly in line with 3sixteen’s aesthetic and came across one that we were thrilled with. We love vintage A-2's but were looking for a way to slightly modernize the silhouette. The arms are slim, and the body has been slightly lengthened without negatively affecting the higher-waisted look that a flight jacket should have. We chose to exclude the epaulets and added hidden side entries to the front flap pockets for the sake of practicality. Finally, we had Schott add a custom sheepskin collar that really finishes the jacket off; should the wearer want a cleaner look, the shearling collar is fully detachable.

BEAUTIFUL HORSE HIDE LEATHER
The Quality of this jacket is top notch The leather is a nice thick horse hide The caller is super comfortable on the neck I love how the double X jacket fits me. I'm 6' 1 230 pounds Plenty of Room for me to wear a sweater or hoodie under it I look forward to my next schott's jacket
AMAZING JACKET -- UPDATED FIT FOR A BOMBER
This jacket fits a bit slimmer and slightly longer on the torso compared to other bomber jackets -- the armholes are higher and the jacket ends at about belt level. It's still a bomber, so it is a fuller cut. The horsehide is soft but pretty thick -- this will require some break in. The color is amazing but hard to describe -- almost an "off" black with mid brown undertones. The lining is nice -- it's a warm brushed flannel, so this is definitely a cool weather jacket.
I'm at the top end of "medium", and size M fits me fine with room for layering. Sizing down may be possible for true or lighter mediums.
EXCELLENT JACKET
Received the jacket yesterday and it exceeded expectations. Quality is excellent and design is well executed. Fit was perfect for me and not as binding as my MOTO jacket which is tight in the arms. Jacket as new is a bit stiff and will take some break-in. Highly recommended.
