This does not appear to be a Schott jacket, as there is nothing about this jacket that relates to a Schott. I think the biggest difference is this cream color zip-out liner, which we never used in any of our motorcycle jackets. In addition I can not remember a motorcycle style that had a removeabe liner and a attached half belt on the jacket. All the patches were added after this jacket was made as you can see the stitching on the body lining, patches on jackets by manufacturer will be added befor the lining in sewn into the jacket. The snaps have no logo and all the pocket zipper pulls have been changed. The jacket is also missing the collar snaps for attaching an optional fur collar, the most noticeable snap would be on the back of the jacket just below the collar.

You are very welcome. When purchasing used you need to look for certain things on a jacket if the label is missing. Always check for a white pocket ticket which can have the style #, size and barcode number depending on the age of the jacket, older jackets have much less information. Check for logo snaps, logo zippers, leather care labels, types of front buckles and possible markings on the back. Of course older vintage jackets did not have all the logos and markings. You can always contact me with your questions, plus there is much information on the forum.
