Welcome to the Schott Discussion Forum

Well, I guess someone had to be first... :D Unfortunately I can't seem to recall any major events happening while donning my Perfecto. I'll say though that it is a very nice jacket (both on and off the bike), and I'm extremely pleased with it. As I was with the genuinely friendly and expert customer service given by Gail when I needed to get these funny :p american measurements sorted in the ordering process. Thanks for inviting me, I'll make sure to visit the board every now and then. Allow me to extend a warm welcome to all other board visitors from Rotterdam, Holland, where it is a beautiful autumn day. Grtz --Pieter

Guess I'll be second then...oh well, the story of my life :p;) Nice place. Nice Jackets :) Though I didn't got mine through mail order (contrarily as planned). It is now my second Perfecto (got it as a Bday present), first one is still nearby (gotta wear it for a special occasion soon), and I hope the new one will last as long and see as many good things as the first. I'll post soon an avatar of me wearing my 'second skin' as my mates say. If you don't mind, that is.. cheers Fab

Hi there american buddies  I first need to tell ya'll that my english is not very good :) I bought my first Schott jacket at... 1982! I was 19 yo. It was the famous black 'Perfecto' and all my friends owned one. We felt like real rebels, ah ah ! Just like Marlon Brando into this famous ole movie ("The wild One"). Now I'm 41 years old and am still a bit rebel, but I don't own a Perfecto anymore... My last purchase to NYC Schott was a great 'jean's style' brown leather jacket this year (my nice interlocutor was Gail), and it smells just like my ancient Perfecto, it's so great! My only regret is that the french customs took me so much money more to let me get it :( I bought a black CWU-R too, here in France last year, and it's very warm during the rude winters here in Picardy (north of France). I love your 'biker vest' too, but unfortunately it doesn't exists in brown colour. I wish that one day Schott Cie sell leather belts too. I'm sure it would be great! Well, that's all I wanted to tell for now :) Bye bye!
