Used motorcycle jacket in size 44-46?

I'm shopping for a jacket. Don't mind used stuff. If you are thinking about selling something in my size, let me know. I'm 5"11, 210 pounds with fairly wide shoulders. I'm not some kind of Ebay store and I'm not shopping to resell stuff. I'm shopping for myself. I'm just a guy with a Triumph Bonneville who likes leather.

Triumphrat121,

See my post in the general section. I own a 1962 TRIUMPH T100SS Chopper and a 1971 Schott Bros. One Star size 46, which I purchased new in 1971. I am 6' 2".  In 1971, I was 44 chest, 32  waist. Coat was large so a sweater could be worn underneath.

A new replacement One Star for me is 540. What do you think the 71 One Star is worth?

Don't know anything about antique jackets. Do you have a pic?

Triumphrat121,

I do not have a picture and I plan to keep it because it is 40 years old to ride on my 50 year old bike. I recommend you buy new. You will not be disappointed. A 613 One Star steerhide is heavy thick leather without a high shine. It will last forever, and I am sure will save your skin if you dump. I never have, so I don't know the feeling. My bike was dumped more than once, by one or more of the 11 previous owners in a 8 year span before I bought it. I have the scratches in the side covers (both sides) and a bent shifter, that I will replace someday.

Are you still looking for a jacket? I have a size 44 in amazing shape. Let me know.
