I might buy a nice, used vintage Schott shearling sheepskin coat. Not sure of its age. See enclosed photo of the tag.
It is sized 44 and my sport coat size is 42. What do you think? Will the sheepskin coat be too big for me?
Based on the label this is an old jacket. Older styles were smaller cut jackets so I would say the 44 should be OK, at least you know it will not be too small. You need to measure your chest and not compare to a sport coat size., measure your chest from under the arm and around your body. You can also get the measurements on the jacket then you can compare it to a jacket you now own. Gail
