Hey there! Would you be interested in a trade? I have a post up right now, seeking to trade two vintage schott brother's jackets. Let me know if you'd be interested, I'd trade BOTH my coats for yours.

Hi Jedipron, first of all thankyou for viewing my post...i have other Schotts jackets so was interested in selling and never thought of trading ....but....i would like to look at what you have as you never know....

Jedipron on 07/15/18 at 08:27 PM

Cool! Check out my post, I have three schott jackets and one unknown denim vintage jacket listed. U

I'd be willing to trade three of my jackets, any that you like, for your one jacket - don't need the chaps.

Is the jacket alone for sale?

Rawhide on 07/23/19 at 04:58 PM

Hi, I'll have to think about that lol....didnt really expect to split them up until I read your post....let me think on it...they are very unique to each other....when the jacket was made I called and asked if they would find the leather it was made of and make the chaps out of the same, which they did.....so thought maybe someone would want that.....so I have been asked to sell just the chaps too....will have to think on it...I dont see why not I guess

Thank you. I appreciate your point of view. When you've gone thru the time to put this match together, you would hope to see them go out together. When I get in this position my friends will say ..."yeah John, in a perfect world..."

With me it's a matter of money & need. Thanks for considering the split.

Hi John, thanks for understanding.....after careful consideration I've come to realize that the jacket dosnt always have to have chaps....leather is worn year round especially this handsome...chaps are weather specific and not a fashion....that being said I'm willing to let the jacket go for $600.00 and sell the chaps seperately....if your still interested I can offer free shipping  and will send immediately after I receive funds.....

Thanks for looking, Bruce

Thank you, Bruce. Beautiful jacket, but sorry to say, beyond my means.

Hi Bruce,

Could the jacket go for $400.00?

John

Rawhide on 07/25/19 at 11:24 AM

Hi John, no sorry $600.00 is my lowest....this is a high end jacket from an iconic maker and a legendary Perfecto......they dont make this anymore.....I think you could find some used for $500.00....I paid 850.00 and I think you can find a new one sold by third party for $1100.00 or so....one of a kind....you can see why the first time you open up the shipment and smell the leather and feel the buttery thickness to it...thankyou for looking though,

Bruce
