Late 70s perfecto fit

Hi, I’m thinking about buying this late 70s perfecto online it says it’s a size 50 so I’m not sure if it’s gonna be huge on me. I have a bit of a gut, I am 5’10” 215 lbs and it is about 43” around my chest. Will this jacket fit me or will I be swimming in it?

I’m 200 lbs 5’8” and I have a 42” chest.  I wear a 42 or a 44.  The 44 has more room but not too big.  My bet is you’ll be swimming in a 50.  Just my opinion though.  Hope that helps.

First let me say all vintage jackets will have a smaller cut. Based on the "V" shape ring pulls on the pocket zippers the jacket is confirmed to be from the late 70's early 80's and a size 50 would be a closer to a size 48. All motorcycle jackets taper in at the waist for protection so if you have a larger waist you would need a jacket sized to accommodate your waist size, but will be larger in the chest/shoulder area. I can only suggest you email Denise in our customer service and request the measurements specs for the style 618. This particular style 618 is still cut on the original patterns, you can then compare the size of this jacket to your body measurements.
