Jacket Schott Mr Porter Comparison Question for Gail

Hi Schott,

I am interested in the Schott Mr Porter double rider, however cannot find it anywhere. The closest jackets I have found in style are the 100 Anniversary Japan edition Rosie One-Star and the Rag and Bone x Schott Double Rider (all pictured below).

As I am aware, Schott followed specific measurements of the cut and leather type for the from Mr Porter during their release, and I was wondering which out of the 100th Anniversary and Rag and Bone jackets are most similar in cut specifications and leather used (thick vs. thin). Sorta thinking you guys have it written down somewhere, but any insight would be great

(I am aware the Rag and Bone has a D-Pocket, more curious to overall cut dimensions)

I need to check with Chris & our designer to get all the answers on this question.  Japan's 100th Anniversry jacket is exactly the same as the 519 except for the lining color. The Mr. Porter jacket is style their style #519MP and is exactly like style 519. The Rag & Bone jacket is their style #75217 in the weight of 1-1.2mm and is 1" shorter otherwise the jacket is the same as 519.

Thank you Gail --Let me know when you get the details.

Is the Mr Porter more similar to the R&B or the 100thAnni in terms of leather type and weight?

Also what is 519MP?

Gail on 04/04/19 at 09:26 AM

All the jackets are Cowhide but finished differently at the tanners. The Rag & Bone is a Icelandic Cowhide, 1-1.2mm. The 519MP is is the same leather as the our 519 a Pebbled cowhide and is approx. 2-2.5mm
