Jacket Details Inquiry

I just got this jacket used. I would like to know more about it. Authenticity, year made, leather type? etc. From the tag I know its a 654, but I want to be sure. Tag: 6518503014, Lot M, BNDL 003, 654.It's slightly different from other 654's I've seen. It has right side, vertical, snap pocket and the sleeve to shoulder stitching seems have an extra stitch line that ends instead of going all the way around. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

The style 654 is a Light Weight Cowhide jacket. Based on the pocket ticket's barcode number the jacket was produced in 2015. I am assuming your question on the snap pocket is on the inside pocketand I really do not have a answer to this question for you, I am nt sure what you have seen on other jackets. Other jackets based on their age could have a different inside pocket design. In reference to the armhole stitching I am assuming both arms have the same stitching on the jacket. I checked our catalogs and from what I can see the style 654 dose have the double stitching. Once again I do not know what jackets you have seen in this style that did not have this type of stitching or once again the age of the jacket. I will contact our designer and possibly he can help in answering your questions more fully.

I have checked with our designer and changes have been made to the style 654 from when we first offered the jacket in our line in 2009. The following changes have been made through the years. The front fly construction and the inside pocket was moved to front facing. The collar construction was changed from a inserted collar as on the style 141 to a shirt collar as on style 530. Top stitching around the armhole changed to half way around the arm to avoid creases at the lower part of the armhole.
