The jacket is either the Steerhide style 618 or the Naked Cowhide version #118. The main Perfecto label with the Bull and the wording Schott "NYC" was used in our jacket in the early-mid 80's. If there is any print on the back of the Miter buckle it could place the jacket closer to the mid-80's. I am unsure why the brass front zipper, unless the zipper has been replaced. I am also not sure why a size 44 would fit like a size 38, older vintage jackets did run smaller usually by a size, a 44 would fit closer to a size 42.

From our 100th Anniversry book I have attached some photos of our vintage labels. Each label shows the years it was usedin our our Perfecto jackets. As you can see our Perfecto labels from the 50's/60's/70's were black in color. In the 70's the new cream color label was introduced with the Bull and the Schott BROS in the early 80's the label was changed to Schott NYC. I hope this information helps you if you are looking for a 60's/70's jacket. The jacket you have now is from the early-mid 80's and is a vintage jacket of 25+ years.
