Hello this a 618 or a 118, from the 70's. Most than likely a 618, because 118 was introduced in 1977. The belt has been removed from previous owner.

hi ricard. thanks. this jacket does not have snaps on the upper lapels but looking online at 618s they seem to have snaps on the upper lapels. did older 618s not have the snaps? and im assuming this is naked cowhide not steerhide?

This is normal on a Perfecto of this age. I don’t know when exactly were added the snaps (approx. early 80's I think)
Fot the leather, if it's a 118 it's naked cowhide, if it's a 618 it's steerhide.

thanks again. i bought this other vintage schott and again no tags in any of the pockets! i dont know what model it is, any clue? or its age? it has a schott branded main zipper. the only tags in the pocket is one that says size 40. then there is a dry cleaning tag and then the schott logo tag over the breast pocket. unfortunately its much smaller than i thought it would be. its a 40 but probably fits more like a 38 and the arms are 23 inches shoulder to end of sleeve, too short so im going to have to sell it. arm pit to arm pit it is actually 20 inches but it fits the shoulders are 17.5 and fits too tight. too bad because its an amazing jacket.

I think this is the 602 "Police" and it is from 1983 or 1984.
