613 Slimmer Fit?

Gail,

By “slim fit”, as it is applied to the 613S and 613SH models, does that mean a jacket is tapered from the standard chest to a smaller waist, like an athletic cut, or, more likely, is it slimmer throughout the torso? What’s the purpose of this, why not just buy a size smaller?  Or does it provide a skinnier cut with broader shoulders?

And how about the sleeves, are they slimmer, too? Should a guy with big arms stay away from a slim cut? Thanks.

All motorcycle jackets taper in at the waist, if you have an athletic build this can be a hard fit. The 613 is our classic motorcycle jacket based on the classic style when first made. The 613 has a snug fit as the original patterns are smaller and is designed for riding with the underarm footballs for a non-constrictive movement when riding. The 613S is a slimmer fit of the 613 and it does not have the underarm football option. The 613SH is the same as the 613S but in the horsehide leather. You can contact Denise in our customer service for the different specs of the 613 & 613S. The specs will also have the circumference of the sleeves, if you have a very wide upper arm then the sleeves may be too tight.
