Description
This Tee is 100% cotton featuring a screenprint inspired by a classic Schott ad. The text reads "Schott Bros. NYC Hand Crafted in U.S.A. Since 1913 next to a vinatge tiger icon. It is made in the U.S.A. and is preshrunk and prewashed so it feels like your favorite t-shirt your wife keeps begging you to throw out (minus the holes).

My two cents for the penny it's worth.
Let's be honest. All t-shirts are not created equal. I believe it's a precise balance of first and foremost - the fit. And secondly, the graphics.

Let's talk fit. I first ordered a medium - usually my go to size for hi-end (meaning I paid too much), fitted t-shirts. Wearing about a 42 Long in suits (on rare occasions), a medium usually satisfies - fitted, but not "check out these guns" tight. I found Schott's medium to be a bit awkward. The shirt tail was very long - like cover your entire back pockets long (notice the hand in the pocket on the photo making it look shorter). I felt the sleeves were a bit too long as well. Making the whole shirt look slouchy and lazy. Not what you want from an expensive t-shirt.

So, I exchanged it for a small - which arrived lightning fast 'cause Schott's customer service ROCKS. It was much better in the length and the sleeves, but a bit too tight in the shoulders. There is a big difference between a small and a medium. But I think the fit needs a bit of work.

I'm digging the graphics, it's a softer print without that plastic feel. Mine looks a little darker than what's in the photo. I would have loved to have seen a full back print and a little something extra like a patch or a small print on the sleeve or on the shirt-tail (like "1913"). At $45, you gotta go the extra mile, right.

Bottom line: at 50% off with the purchase of a jacket, it's a steal and a no brainer. But, I don't think I'd pay full-price until they work on the fit and go the extra mile on the design. That is just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love Schott, they are artisans and I sing their praises - but I've gotta shoot you straight with an honest review - even if it is just a t-shirt.

Be good. Ride safe.
