Decades of Quality
I bought this jacket as a gift. It made a 15 year old teen boy react with emotion. The leather is butter soft, the quality is obvious and the styling just right for a young man without being over the top. He was facinated by the history of the company, the cafe racer bike and culture and the jacket.
I bought a model 135 Casual Weekend Pebbled Cowhide Leather Jacket for another close young friend ten years ago and he stopped wearing his Hugo Boss.
My jacket is an old horsehide racer with a spread collar with a zip-in fleece lining and two zippered upper chest pockets. Totally full rider made; it must weigh ten pounds. Yet so comfortable. I believe it's discontinued as a model. it's 28 years old and looks brand new. I just wipe it down with a leather cleaner and season it with mink oil once a year.
I tell everyone: Schott is not only a leather jacket, it's THE leather jacket.
