Hi Gail I am trying to identify this zip which is on what Zi believe to be a 1950's HH 613. Also, do you have photos anywhere of 613's through the ages? Thanks

Just based on the zipper pull you posted it appears to be an old Conmar military wire front zipper. I checked in our 100th. Anniversary book and there is a photo of this pull on a Perfecto motorcycle jacket. The Jacket has a Cream color "Perfecto Styled for Comfort" label and a "Guaranteed Genuine Steerhide" label. The jacket is from the mid-late 1950's. We tried to post as many of the old vintage jackets in our book with the best descriptions provided on labeling, zippers etc. We actually do not have photos through the years for the styles but we did collect the vintage styles we had in our possession or loaned to us for our Anniversary book. That is very interesting, Gail as the zip is on the jacket below. I will take a look at your Anniversary book if I can find it online.

We do not have our Anniversary Book on line, it os a hard cover book with over 160 pages of the history of Schott with numerous photos telling the history of the company. The book is being offered on our website to purchase and is a limited edition for our anniversary this year.

The label in the jacket confirms it is a Horsehide jacket this label was used in the late 1950's. Gail

The Conmar zipper and label would appear to authenticate the jacket as a 1950's 613HH which is very interesting. I have recently acquired the jacket and it seems to be in a good state of preservation for the year. Thanks for your help
