Picked up this apparantly old police jacket. Wasn't sure if it would have been purpose built for police use or not.
Gail - any insight? It's a 44 long. Liner does not zip out.

I haven't received the jacket yet, and when I do I'll get whatever tag info I can to determine when it was made etc. |

This is our Police jacket style # 607 that was in our line of jackets in 1983 & 1984. The jackets offered in 1983 & 84 had a zip-out pile lining which this jacket does not. Based on the Bull label and the red size tag, this jacket is from the 1970's, and at that time was probably made without the liner. It could also be ajacket we made for a police dept. that requested no liners in their jackets. Gail |

Thanks Gail! It does indeed have a liner, but it's permanently sewn in. Thanks for the date info on the jacket. Can't wait to put it on.
I might look into having the lining removed as it will be awfully warm with it in during the summer months. |
