hi there-
looking at a 1950's police jacket on ebay and would like something slim-fitting. any experience with how these fit? looks like a riders jacket for reference. |

Based on the jacket being from the 1950's I would have to say it is a small cut jacket. On our website for the classic jackets we still cut on the vintgae patterns we recommend the customer order 1 size larger as they are a smaller cut. On these older jackets you would need 1 size larger then your chest size. Some of these older jackets also have shorter back lengths, so if you are tall the jacket may be too short on you. Gail |
