Hi Gail, This is the second Perfecto I was hoping you could help me identify. I was told it was from 1969? Unfortunately there is no printing of there is not text after "Lot" on the liner tag (or it's faded). Seems to be a rather unique piece. Would you be able to help me find the model number & date of manufacture? Thank you so much! Neck Label "Perfecto by Schott Bros" with bull small white size tag with red label "36" corduroy collar Talon main zipper angled chest pockets no side pockets no bi-swing back cleaning tag says "895 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ 07112 a dvision of R Sherman Leather Cleaners Inc"

Unfortunately I do not have catalogs from the 1960's, but this is what I can determine about the jacket. It is the steerhide style 654. The Sherman Care Label, red size loop, and the Beige Perfecto label w/"Schott USA" were all used between in the late 1960's- late 1970's. The style 654 was first made with a bi-swing back in 1972. In 1971 and the years to follow the jacket had quilt lining and in 1970 the jacket had a wool lining. We first made this style for Beck with a nylon lining and in the late 1960's we started to make the jacket under our label. My best guess when we first made the jacket in late 1960's it was with the nylon lining that is in your jacket. Gail
