I have three Schott Perfectos. One of them has the correct mitered buckle for it's age. Of the remaining two, one has an aftermarket (non-Schott, I think) buckle and the second has absolutely no buckle at all. I would love to have mitered buckles installed on both of these jackets. Are they still available? If not Schott (I understand and appreciate the 'american made' hardware) anyone else?

I wish I could help you on this one, but unfortunately I can not. The company that was making the miter buckles for us is no longer in business. As so many other companies we have lost, making it hader for us to find materials to manufacture jackets. We have searched and inquired with other buckle companies, but no one seems to have the mold to make this miter buckle. We are still searching as we now have now depleted our old inventory stock.
