Leather tear on under arm seam
Watch this Post

I posted a while back about a a 618 i had gotten with a very small tear in the leather on the right side underarm seam. Gail had suggested that if and when it needed repaired it would require a patch, since nothing really can be done about torn leather. I was just wondering if it would be possible to place a patch on the inside by opening up the lining and then resewing it after a patch is applied, rather than placing it over top of the damage.

Ive included a link of the old post (with photos) to reevaluate it.

Looks like the leather could be pulled in a little tighter and the seam re-stitched not needing a patch.

We would really need to look at the tear to see  what can be done. Without looking at the actual jacket it is hard to confirm what we can or cannot do, and the best way to repair. If you want to send it in for a repair please contact Jerri in customer service. She handles all repairs and can instruct you in sending the jacket into us. You can reach her by phone 1-800-631-5407 or email: jerri@schottnyc.com
