I have a limited edition, James Dean leather jacket, size 42. I'm not sure which one it is, but it has a silver zipper, no belt, and doesn't have a fur collar. I'd like to sell it, but need to find out more about it. I've looked on the other thread on this topic, so I think it's a JD-2. It's in good condition, with a couple of minor blemishes, but nothing major, with all of the zippers and attached. Any suggestions or ideas?

Hi Cassie, Based on your description you have the Collectors Edition of the James Dean jacket. The Limited Edition JD-1was in horsehide leather, Mouton fur collar and the Sam Brown belt, and brass hardware. The JD-2 was in steerhide leather and did have a detachable synthetic pile collar, no belt and silver hardware. In 1985 when these jackets were made the JD-1 probably retailer arround $375.00, the JD-2 at $250.00. Gail |

Hi there...
I'm definitely interested in selling the jacket. I'd rather it go to someone who really wants it...I love it and have enjoyed wearing it, but it's time for the jacket to go to a new home.
