| Hi,
just bought this jacket and need to identify the model in order to care for the leather.
It is a cafe racer # 1027708015 LOT BNDL 044
Can you please tell me if it is cowhide or steerhide and what is the proper way to maintain/care for it?

The jacket is style 641 in a steerhide leather. As with all leathers we caution aboit putting any product on a leather item, as products can discolor or stiffen the leather. he steerhide does have a finish to the leather and we would only recommend saddle soap for a light cleaning and mink oil applied spareingly for conditioning. The important maintenance on a leather jacket is to peridically depending on wear to have the jacket professionally cleaned and conditioned. Linings and stitching deteriorate from dirt and sweat.
